Stylish 2 bedroom home in popular Castro District.

Indulge yourself in this gorgeous, newly redone, centrally located. 55 inch LCD TV (Basic Cable) Laundry machines in unit, Well equipped kitchen features induction electric range with convection, microwave oven, dishwasher, ice maker, blender, toaster oven. Marble lined bathrooms. Two King beds + separate futon.

Long term rentals preferred.

Discounted parking is available onsite at $24 per day, but must be reserved at time of reservation. Same day parking booking is $38 per day.

Some stairs. No elevator.

If you are going to rent the parking onsite, make sure your car is not over 6' high or wide. The driveway is narrow.

Perfect Location...Lovely Condo...Friendly & Helpful Owner

We took our family to San Francisco for Spring Break, and we stayed in Jack's condo. We found it to be clean, comfortable, accessible, and really all we could ask for. Jack was helpful with information and suggestions. I would book this rental again in a heartbeat.

Perfect girls weekend getaway

This condo was perfect for 4 adult women! 2 similar spacious bedrooms, state of the art kitchen and appliances and comfortable shared living space. Walking distance to grocery, drug store and BART entrance. Lots of great restaurants around (I'd suggest staying away from Harveys). The owners were helpful and accommodating! Id definitely recommend this location.

Sleek and Comfortable

We (a family of 4 with 2 children aged under 13) stayed here for 3 nights. We arrived very late the first night but entry was very easy - I loved not having to worry about carrying keys around. The apartment was crisp and clean upon arrival. Everything worked. The lighting fixtures took some getting used to but our 9 year old got the hang of it pretty quickly. Our kids fought over the second bedroom but the "den" was cozy and suited the one who ended up in there.

The kitchen and bathroom decor and fixtures were not only beautiful but very functional. The kitchen included all necessary utensils and cookware as well a few things like tea, sugar, sugar substitutes, paper towels and napkins. We stocked the fridge with groceries purchased from a supermarket barely 2 blocks away. The freezer was a little hard to get into but there was not much reason to go in there during our stay.

There is a small "deck" or "courtyard." I used quotes because it's really neither of those but it is an outside, open air, space with a table and 4 chairs that was nice in the mornings with breakfast.

The neighborhood is great. Quiet, safe, quaint, close to MUNI and food and other services. Although we could've parked on the property (with an added fee) I opted to take my chances on the street and spent no more than 5 minutes looking for nearby parking. The owner even made suggestions for streets to look on - he was spot on.

We would absolutely return to the apartment and recommend it to all!

Excellent choice for San Francisco vacation

This place has everything you need to make your stay comfortable, convenient and enjoyable. It was clean and clutter free with very comfortable beds. They even provided toiletries. The location makes it easy to access public transportation and is within walking distance to great restaurants and urban hikes. Thanks for a great stay!

below expectations

we stayed 8 nights in march 2014 in this 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment. we know san francisco well and were attracted by the location, the equipment and the fact that it is totally on the back and therefore should be quiet.

location : no surprise. it is indeed one block from firewood. the only thing that one should be aware of is that the apartment has no view . livingroom / kitchen windows open to a very narrow patio and the bedrooms on the parking lot.

quiet : although you do not hear street noise the building is very poorly insulated and you can hear upstairs/downstairs neighbors walk, talk,laugh and shout. you can hear their music and their tv. after a few days it becomes very uncomfortable since this can happen anytime of the day or night.

equipement : the beds are comfortable, the machines work and are new and there is no problem with hot water or heating. however the kitchen equipement is very limited ( we like to cook ) , and there is a big problem of cleaningless in this property. to be more specific there are carpets everywhere ( even surprisingly in the kitchen !) and there are not clean. after a few days we decided to roll the ones which were the most unattractive and put them under the beds. we also lost something at some point in the apartment and had to move everything and realised that the maid does not move bed tables or beds very often since you can find quantity of dust by moving them, and the kitchencabinets tops are sticky.

finally on the welcome . we arrived at dark with a car with the idea of parking it in the property space that we had rented. the owner does not meet you but leave you with quantity of codes to open front door and apartment doors. we had a one page instruction to use the condo and could not find any specific instruction to locate the garage door remote. so i called the owner who showed up quickly . by the time he came i had finally located the remote but he was not particularly friendly. i had to insist so that he could stay a few minutes to clarify a few items. he justified his attitude by saying that he thought we had already stayed in his property. i did not and will definitely never be back.

overall we were very disappointed. except may be for the price i do not qualify this property as luxurious . i hope this review will help the owner to fix some problems ( at least remove all these stained carpets ! ) although i do not think that that the noise nuisances can be fixed easily
