We are located on the north shore of Hogs neck in Southold. This area is very special as it is very quiet, serene and mostly still exists in its wild state. It is home to Cedar Beach, Goose creek, Paradise point and three prominent wineries. The Indian Museum and Custer Telescope ( famous for study of the solar system) make their home here as well. The North Fork Triathalon is held here every year in the beginning of July mainly due to the extreme low volume of traffic. Horses, pony drawn buggys, runners , Bicyclists and walkers feel as if they have the road to themselves.

My fiancee and I stayed at this loft for 2 days and we had such a great time!! So relaxing + fresh air and breeze + beautiful yard + private beach + comfortable in every aspect. And of course our host Chuck was super kind and friendly. Do not hesitate, book the place RIGHT now!! Thank you so much Chuck, we had a wonderful time, we will definitely come back later! The loft was the perfect escape after months of stressful wedding planning! The property was quiet and romantic...the private beach, was exactly that- private! Chuck was an amazing host, giving us the best local recommendations. We hated leaving and are planning to come back in september. We don't want to share this little secret in southold!

My husband Frank and I spent 4 nights at the Roost for a 23rd anniversary get-away and very luckily found peace, solitude and quiet through Chuck and Lynn's thoroughly equipped and romantic loft at their lovely waterfront family-friendly property! Frank has told all our friends that "if you're looking for a a reasonable, knowledgable and fun fishing adventure, you WON'T find any better than Captain Chuck." I took my husband to the Loft for his first father's day. Chuck took us fishing and sunset cruising. It was just a perfect getaway that we were looking for. the Loft is clean, comfy and very relaxing... We became fans of Captain Chuck and looking forward to going back there! If you like fishing, this is the place to be. Captain Chuck knows where the fish is!!

Chuck- what a week! totally awesome! We had the Beach by ourseleves, the winery tours were great and the farms were alive with lots to do. The North Fork table was the best restaurant we ever experienced- thanks for your suggestion.The North Fork is truly magical- as is your spot! Same week next year please.
