Braidwater Guest Cottage, a Luxury Vacation Rental

Our family wanted to spend five days near Glacier National Park as part of a two-week Rocky Mountain trip. We chose Braidwater as our first place to stay, and it was wonderful! The apartment itself is tasteful and well-stocked. We cooked nearly every meal there which is important because of diet restrictions in our family. The amenities were fantastic - the mountain view, the river walk, the hot tub, the gas grill, fus ball, trampoline. They even let our girls ride on Butter, one of the horses on the grounds, and play with their adorable dog. Our girls, 6 and 9, did not turn on the television once. The owners were exceptionally nice and helpful too. They recommended one of the best walks we took in the park. If you are looking for a fantastic place with wonderful people to stay near Glacier National Park, this is the one!

This was an extraordinary place to stay, nestled along the Flathead River in the Glacier Mountains! It is more beautiful than any picture could capture! Very convenient to Kalispell, yet remote. They are most gracious hosts! Everything we needed and more, was ready and waiting when we arrived late! Very clean, organized, and eco. conscious. Considering all the gifts and talents this family obviously has, they find time to welcome guests into their beautiful place, and share their beautiful "barn" to discover and stay! It is a place created and decorated out of love, from a wonderful family! Our family of 7 loved it! Thank you for helping make our trip even more amazing!!

Wow, what an interesting & fantastic property. We (two couples) stayed for 4 nights. The on-site owners were great - interested, interesting, and helpful. The property is beautiful, the "barn" is lots of fun with a trampoline and other diversions. Living quarters are very comfortable but oriented toward a family instead of two couples. The kitchen is modern and well-equipped and is stocked with the basics.

The property is next to a braid of the Flathead River. It was dry when we were there so a short walk past the garden and through a pasture was needed to reach moving water. Wildlife is everywhere: deer, eagles, geese, many other birds. Fishing in the river was very good, although a boat is needed to reach the best waters. The owners arranged inner tubing for us and had many good suggestions for activities.

Overall, this was a 5-star VRBO experience! I highly recommend this for active families or couples. It is very convenient for checking out Glacier NP and Flathead Lake.
