With it’s textured walls, tapestries, carved furniture, and beautiful vistas, Braidwater vacation rental provides the magical ambiance combined with modern convenience.
My family just vacationed to MT and are so glad we picked this VRBO for accommodations! The host family is very nice and welcoming. The kitchen is stocked with plenty of condiments and utensils so it was nice to only have to buy the major ingredients for cooking. The decorations are very eclectic; by far one of the most unique places we've ever stayed at. We have 3 little boys who enjoyed everything from the horses on the farm to the indoor trampoline! We enjoyed being away from other people and still close enough to drive to fun activities. The only thing I'd say is to be aware that the staircases in the place are open. I struggled with that a little bit with the kids (although my hubby didn't seem to care as much). But we had no incidents thankfully and everyone had a great time. We highly recommend staying here and are hoping to come back ourselves sometime!
We were actually there April 5th of 2013.This was a wonderful place for myself and children. It's out of town but yet close enough to get to stores, restaurants, and anything else you'd like to do around the valley. The children enjoyed the indoor space, especially the trampoline! It had everything you'd need to enjoy your stay. The owners were more than accommodating as we had family stuff arise and needed to stay longer than planned. They were kind and understanding. I would recommend this property to any family or friend that needed a quiet, yet convenient place to stay.
A wonderful property that offers so much more than just a place to stay. My kids had a blast with the indoor trampoline and foosball table. The Braidwater offers so much indoor space to enjoy, it provided the perfect winter weather retreat!
We sooooo loved this vacation!! The Owner and family were great with hospitality. Their property was unique and beautifully maintained. Kallispell was very local and had everything we needed food- wise. Whitefush was just a 30 min drive too. The beds were comfortable after long days of hiking in Glacier all day. The organic garden was graciously shared. There was a library of shared information (maps , "to do" lists, local menus, varied recommendations etc) there and the family members offered great fun and congenial hospitality! And fishing was right out the back door ! We all hope to return!! PS. we are a blended family ......of teenagers ages 14 -19! And EVERYONE was happy! :)
It’s hard to believe that in the past 3 years we have stayed a total of 2 months at Braidwater. There are 10 of us spanning 3 generations. Filling the wants and needs of this group was difficult until we found Braidwater. The location, accommodations, and hosting family make this vacation site work like no other. All of the reviews are true. This is truly a gem. If you haven’t been here yet, do it!
This was our sixth wedding anniversary and could not have picked a more beautiful place to stay ;) The pictures are wonderful but it was absolutely amazing to see in person. we loved everything about Braidwater and can't wait to come back to visit again. Everything was so clean and we felt so much at home. We would highly recommend Braidwater and hope we get to go back soon! Thank you so much for all of the quick responses to all of our questions and making our anniversary vacation perfect ;)
Welcome to Braidwater. We are located in the Flathead Valley of Northwest Montana, a land of snowy mountains, green forests and wild rivers. Our home is located on the Flathead River, in the middle of valley farmland, yet only minutes from Kalispell. From here you can easily hike in Glacier National Park, ski Whitefish Mountain, see Bigfork village or visit art galleries in Kalispell. Kalispell itself, 10 minutes away, is the hub of the Flathead Valley, with Whitefish to the north, and Bigfork to the South. The Valley can be accessed by air via Glacier Park International Airport, or through Whitefish by Amtrak train. Kalispell is cosmopolitan beyond its size, containing many art galleries, a wonderful community medical center, and a fabulous symphony orchestra.
