The apartment has one separate bedroom, with a queen-size bed; and the living room (which can be closed off with glass doors for privacy) has a pull-out couch that sleeps two.
Stay in our bright, fully air-conditioned and equipped one-bedroom apartment in the heart of Athens, just a short walk or metro ride to everywhere!
We enjoyed our stay here. The location was near to Victoria Square train Station. The photos of the apartment were accurate. The owner was very helpful and answered all our queries. There were a number of restaurants close by in Victoria Square. The rail system was great and easy to use and get about on. The Hop on / Hop off bus had a stop close by near the Archeological Museum. We visited Athens during the Summer holidays. There was quite a lot of traffic noise at times during the night. Would pick a different time to visit Athens. It was quite hot when we were in Athens, but the Apartment had reverse cycle airconditioning and fans in each room, which made it very pleasant.
We had an excellent stay. We loved the place. It has everything you need an more. At our arrival we got excellent information of the surrounding areas. The apartment is very centric and very nice. We highly recommended. I was travelling with my daughter and we felt extremely comfortable and safe.
The apartment was perfect for a family vacation. Unlike a hotel, the apt provided a private place for us to visit as a group but let us maintain separate sleeping areas (one bedroom and one pull out sleeper in the living room) The apt was completely furnished and the washing machine was very helpful as we're traveling light for an extended period. The metro was very close, the neighborhood was safe although sometimes the traffic noise was a little loud. Included air conditioning and fan options for summer. Although not resort-luxurious, it's a perfect center of Athens headquarters for a family. Also, Adoni was helpful and responsive.
We loved this central location. The hospitality of the owner was wonderful and helpful. Everything is there that you need and more. Easy access to the metro and museums. We can't thank the owner enough for the tips and check ins. Wii Fii works great also! Enjoy this clean, homey environment.
After looking at available options for a week in Athens, we selected this apartment. From past experiences in large European cities, we wanted to be close to the central city and near public transportation. This apartment fits the bill nicely. It is within easy commuting distance to a number of cultural venues as the Metro is a short two blocks away. The apartment is true as advertised, clean and comfortable according to European standards. There is a grocery store and bakery located within 100 ft. from the apartment and a number of fast food options can be found in the area. Adoni Rokakis, the manager, makes the transition into the Greek environment especially easy. He is quick to respond to emails and answer questions that arise. Having lived in the US, he is aware of the travel expectations and concerns of American tourists. Athens is a vibrant city that is busy 24/7. If you are from a location that is less active at night, you will have to make some accommodations. The apartment is located on the first floor near two busy streets with stoplights. The sounds of the city carry deep into the night. Otherwise, the apartment can be recommended as an excellent base for the exploration of Athens.
I stayed with my son and another man helpling a local refugee center for a week. I found the accomodations to be very nice and exactly what we needed. We each were able to sleep privately due to the room layout and the location worked out perfect.
15-20 minute walk to the center, right across the street from the store. When we did go on 'tourist excursions' we were minutes away from any transportation we needed.
Adoni himself was very friendly and helpful with questions we had. I would highly recommend this location for a group of 4 or less.
Just a 10-min. walk to Omonia Square (metro stop, shopping) and a block and a half from Victoria Square (with cafes, tavernas, Internet cafe and train). Syntagma, Kolonaki, Plaka, Monastiraki, National Archeological Museum, Acropolis--all are either a short walk (25-30 min.) or metro ride (5-10 min.) away. Around the corner are a major (just-renovated) supermarket, bank, pharmacy, florist, health-food store, toy store, take-out, cafe, boutiques--and more.
