We've lived in Austin since 1999 and we love it. We enjoy traveling (as often as possible) and meeting the travelers that grace our vacation rentals. Our other passions include graphic design, film making, publishing, and wake-surfing on lake Austin.

Beautiful home, interior design and perfect locn

Dani and Joel created an amazing space and experience from start to finish. Their home is striking inside and out, perfectly maintained and in the perfect location. I love the clean, contemporary interior design from the art to the furnishings and even the towels. The wrap around deck is so inviting that you may decide to stay 'home' during your entire visit. You don't need anything. Just show up and enjoy. Thanks Dani and Joel! See you in 2015.

Well maintained and perfectly located!!!

My wife and I went to Austin for a brief getaway and to attend a concert. It was the first time there for both of us and where we very pleased with the experience. The city is very inviting and clean. There are a ton of places to entertain yourself at. The county/city parks and spring fed pools are awesome, state parks offer some great hiking, shopping is right around the corner, there a several entertainment districts, incredible bars, and the place is full of restaurants that will leave your mouth watering for more. In 4 days we did not have a single meal that was not incredible.

Accommodations - the house gets an A+. It is actually a duplex, but you would never know it other than seeing the other tenants car in the driveway. It's located in an upscale residential neighborhood that is beautiful and incredibly located . Your less than a mile from the South Congress ave area and a short cab ride to the party areas of Downtown ($10-20 cab ride). The owners have taken great care in maintaining the property in tip top condition. There is a front porch that wraps around to the side which I found to be a great place to sit each afternoon. Your close to the highway, but again would never know it, so getting out and about is a breeze. In all the rentals we have stayed over the years the bedding in this unit was in the top tier for comfort. The unit has been tastefully remodeled. No corners where cut which to me says a lot about the owners and their willingness to provide the best experience to the renter as possible, which is what we had.

Beautiful, Modern, Chic Home in Travis Heights!

Stayed here based on a recommendation of a friend who lives in Austin and he definitely knew what I was looking for!

I was in Austin for a conference at the Convention Center for a week along with a co-worker. Instead of staying in separate hotel rooms $$$$, we opted to stay in The Green Door by SoCo Spaces.

The reservations, communication and support from the owners was incredible as was the neighborhood which was quiet and seemed far-removed from a bustling city.

No fault of the owners, we thought it would be smart to get a weeklong bus pass, but after a day ditched those for taxi 's on the Hail a Cab Austin app.

Even with cab fare, we came out far cheaper than a hotel, enjoyed having a house, kitchen, and laundry to ourselves and a quiet patio to chill out on in the evenings.

Highly recommend and hope to be back someday soon.

Modern Oasis

We stayed at PLUM DOOR - Great Owners - Clear instructions for check-in and everything labeled. Kitchen, bathroom, laundry room - all supplies are provided. Ceiling fans and A/C. Clean, modern and comfortable. Large closets! Very close to South Congress. The only thing I would suggest would be a few comfy chairs for the living room. Great neighborhood. You just can't beat this value and group of properties.

Awesome!

We have vacationed in Austin quite a bit over the last few years – each time discovering new restaurants and music venues to enjoy and a favorite discovery we made a couple of years ago is SoCo Spaces’ Green Door. The owners, Dani and Joel have thought of everything to make their guests’ stay a relaxed and enjoyable one - truly a home - away - from - home! The furniture and beds are very comfortable and everything is spotless. The wonderful deck is great for leisurely coffee in the morning or unwinding after a day of exploring. The neighborhood is lovely and peaceful and it is an easy walk to South Congress.

The reservation process is easy and the area guide is very helpful - full of great suggestions.

We rave about our stays at the Green Door and will definitely be back!

Amazing Austin get-away!!

For the last several years, we have stayed exclusively at SoCo spaces' properties whenever we have traveled to Austin. We have stayed at the Red House, the Green door, and the Orange door, and they are all fantastic!! Since we tend to travel with our toddler and our pooch, it has been so amazing to find a space that works so perfectly for us. Our baby can have his own room, so that we can actually get some sleep. We can have a refrigerator to store some on-hand emergency food. And, everyone has room to roam, play, and lounge. One time, we realized en route from Fort Worth to Austin that we forgot to pack our Pack N' Play. No worries...Dani and Joel to the rescue...they had one waiting for us at the house when we got there. They also always provide us with a high chair each visit, which is super-helpful.

All in all, the properties are exactly as described and pictured...they are beautiful, light, modern, and funky. The location of the properties CANNOT be beaten...they are all a short walk away from South Congress, which is home to a ton of delicious eateries and eclectic shops. Austin, in and of itself, is an incredible vacation destination, with a ton of things going on at all times. The Soco spaces' properties are an oasis in the middle of it all. Plus, Dani and Joel are so nice, attentive, available, and helpful throughout the entire duration of your stay. They listen to feedback provided in the guestbooks and have changed some features of the properties accordingly. As you can see, I cannot say enough nice things!!
