3 Bedroom, 2 1/2 bathrooms, Sleeps 6, Central Air

Great getaway to the Adirondack with a small town feel. Main living area has cathedral ceilings, wood stove, fully equipped kitchen and wonderful natural lighting. The main floor has two bedrooms and full bath and there is a third bedroom on the upper floor with a separate loft area. The finished basement has a pellet stove, large screen TV and a 1/2 bath.

Other amenities include wrap around deck, private neighborhood, gas grill, washer/dryer, cable TV, wireless internet, video games and plenty of board games.

Plenty of room to relax with the family after spending time on the lake or sightseeing in Lake George. Conveniently located between Lake George, Outlets/Great Escape and Saratoga racetrack. Only a 15 minute drive to West Mountain for a fun day of skiing.

Activities: This is a perfect location to enjoy swimming, boating, fishing, and hiking as well as local area attractions.

Summer - Enjoy the Lake! Or any of the dozens of activities the Adirondacks have to offer. Lake George, outlet shopping and Great Escape all within 15 min and Saratoga horse racing 20 min. White water rafting right in Lake Luzerne as well! Rent a boat and use the boat launch around the corner from the chalet.

Fall - Come for the annual Hot Air Balloon Festival (September) and beautiful fall foliage. Bring the family for Thanksgiving dinner.

Winter - Enjoy skiing, tubing, ice skating within minutes of the Chalet. Don't miss the Lake George Winter Carnival which runs all thru the month of February.

Come visit the beautiful Lake George Region. The chalet is located in a private and secluded neighborhood in Lake Luzerne, just 15 minutes from Lake George.

We can be found minutes away from I-87. Countless activities including Great Escape, miniature golf, outlet shopping, boating around the corner, parasailing and enjoying the sites of Lake George. Spend a day in nearby Saratoga Springs and enjoy Saratoga's horseracing.

Located in Lake Luzerne is white water rafting, tubing, water skiing and excellent local/quaint dinning. Located in the neighborhood is a public boat launch just a block from the house.

This is a great vacation home! Theresa did a wonderful job of communicating with us before our stay. When we got there it was easy to immediately feel at home. The place is very clean and in great shape, but feels very much like a home where we felt very comfortable. There was plenty of room for the 6 adults who stayed there and lots of games, movies, books, and toys to keep any age entertained. We were close to snow tubing, a couple of ski resorts, ice skating, and town. I highly recommend this home if you are planning a trip to Lake George!

Birchwood Chalet was a perfect location for our ladies' group getaway. We each flew into Albany from around the country, and everything was prepped and ready when we arrived. Having access to the garage was especially helpful for unloading vehicles because it was raining hard when we arrived. We were able to take day trips to Lake George, Lake Placid, Saratoga Springs, Sagamore, and even Williams College and the Norman Rockwell Museum in Massachusetts. In addition to Lake Luzerne, there are a number of other lakes in the area and multiple waterfalls and hiking trails to discover. The open floor plan was perfect for preparing and cooking our evening meals at the house. We would definitely recommend Birchwood Chalet to our friends.

What a good deal. Had a nice garage to park the bikes in. The rooms were well furnished and clean and comfy. There was no service for MY cell phone at the house, but with unlimited long distance land line and free wi-fi, it was great. The master bedroom with jacuzzi was great. All amenities. Quiet neighborhood. I would highly recommend this place anytime. Thanks Theresa & Joe
