4th floor flat in a classic 19th century Hausmann building (with elevator to the 2nd floor), this extraordinary apartment was completely renovated by its American and French owners in 2007. The décor is an eclectic mix of classics and contemporary. The striking hardwood floors are the original 19th century parquet which we uncovered during the renovation.
With its east–west facing windows, the salon / dining room and bedrooms are drenched with natural light. The modern kitchen is fully equipped (dishwasher, gas stove, microwave, coffee machine, etc), and the bathrooms feature an open waterfall shower as well as a traditional bathtub shower. The water closet is located in a separate room as is typical in many Hausmann apartments.
This apartment is perfect for the discriminating traveler – a chic, elegant, spacious alternative to a standard hotel with all the comforts and convenience you expect.
We are a young American and French family and we met & fell in love in the City of Light. We knew that Paris would always be the center of gravity for us, and so we decided to buy a classic Hausmann apartment in the neighborhood where we lived for nearly four years.

The Montorgueil 'quarter' is where real Parisiens live, shop and eat! As such, this is where many visitors come to see and experience authentic Parisien living. And rue Montorgueil even captured Claude Monet's imagination as he painted a beautiful street celebration.
Montorgueil is centrally located straddling the Marais/Pompidou to the east, Eglise Saint-Eustache/Place de Victoires to the west, and Hotel de Ville / Notre Dame to the south. The neighborhood in and around Montorgueil is filled with great restaurants, cafes and boutique stores for everything from jewelry, clothing and housewares along rue Montmarte, rue de Jour and rue Etienne Marcel. A must is a visit to the Passage de Grand Cerf which is next to rue Tiquetonne. You will not be disappointed!

Everything was so well laid out for our arrival. The welcome letter was informative. We really felt that we were Parisians. The ease of getting around was enhanced by the central location. The other residents were quiet . Having a grocery store next door was perfect. The only problem we had was so much to see and too little time! Thank you sincerely.
Very comfortable apartment and a great retreat after a busy day of touring. Location was excellent. We walked everywhere - even the Eiffel Tower! Grocery store 1/2 a block away - has everything you need!
The apartment was perfect for our family of 4 (including 2 teenagers). Very clean and better equipped than I expected. The owner provided lots of helpful information by email prior to our trip, and there are helpful maps and guidebooks in the apartment. Steps away from the metro and a grocery/convenience/bakery shop. Within walking distance to Notre Dame and even to the Louvre. There were also some great restaurants just around the corner, including Thai and Japanese. There was some early morning construction noise on the street below the bedroom windows, but I suspect this to be common in may parts of the city. I'd highly recommend this apartment for your stay in Paris.
Modern, spacious apartment in the 2nd arrondissement, convenient on foot to many sights, and a block away from the Metro stop. Kitchen (IKEA!) has all the amenities necessary. Beautiful hardwood floors. Lots of light in the living/dining area - big windows - which also let in street noise when fully opened. It's a busy street! However, you ARE in the heart of the city, so it's expected. We loved this apartment.
Really good apartment in a great location! A lot os space, perfect equipped, nice beds, clean and good shower.
The owner is really professional and Monica, the keeper, is a wonderful person.
The only problem is the elevator, wich goes only to the 2nd floor and the apartment is on the 4th!
We had a wonderful stay at this apartment. The location is fantastic - right on the metro, with easy access to St. Germain des Pres, Opera, Bastille, Republic, and the 7th arrondissement. Rue Montorgueil is a skip away, with great food, wine, and cheese. Very accurate listing and photos, exceptionally clean and well-maintained flat. The owners are most helpful, and the welcome letter is a great guide. We would certainly stay here again.

Rate of approximately US$1,600 ($229 per night) is for weekly rentals. For shorter stays (4 night minimum), per night rate will be higher. Please inquire for confirmed rates.
We require a 50% non-refundable down payment - this will confirm your reservation. The final 50% payment is due 15 days prior to your arrival date. Lastly, we also require a damage deposit of 500 US dollars.
