Perfect!

We loved the place and will definitely be coming back. The best part was, you felt like you were in the middle of nowhere, but everything you need or want is close by. The kids had a blast fishing and caught a lot of fish. There were not much fish in the creek, but they still loved playing it just as well! Thank you for letting us enjoy your property.

Friends Getaway

Big Al’s Creekside Cabin is absolutely amazing. The cabin is so cozy and you can see the creek from every window in the house. The sound of the water running is one of the most relaxing sounds I ever heard. You just don’t get tired of that incredible sound. The house is so clean and everything you need is waiting there for you. We cooked almost every night, eating our dinner at the counter and then had a fire going in the huge fireplace! Who cares if it’s raining? We were watching the creek growing from the rain, and it was quite the show! Changing every hour. Better than TV! We couldn’t use the hot tub. Raining and colder weather didn’t seem to have that in the cards. But it looks so inviting. Maybe next time. Don’t miss crossing the bridge and walking back to the pond. It’s a beautiful walk and I wish we had been able to explore further but the rain did not cooperate. Did I mention how comfortable the bed was? Sheets are soft and pillows are perfect. My friend decided the couch was so comfortable she slept on it instead of areo bed. Snydersville Family Restaurant! Must do. Mountain View Winery. Beautiful Rest, Relax, Restored. Rent this cabin. You will not be disappointed. Thank you for sharing this wonderful piece of Heaven with my friend and me. God willing we will come back! I really didn’t want to leave. A favorite

Have rented a few times, the cabin is the perfect setting to relax and recharge. I bring a pile of books and read in the creek room by day and next to fireplace by night. Very comfortable and well equipped accommodations.

Quiet escape

Quality linens great atmosphere when we got there with candles, lit, and music playing. This is our second time and we love the sound of the water right next to the house.

Rest and Relaxation

This is my third visit to Big Al's Creekside Cabin and as always it was everything, I expected. Even when the power went out due to a downed tree from a rain/windstorm, it never changed the mood. If your looking for a great place to get away and relax, I highly recommend Big Al's.!!!!!

I fell in love with the Creek House the MOMENT I saw it. We have had our ups and downs together over the years, but I am still often mesmerized by its magic. :) With the twelve acres across the bridge, it's like living in my own little national park.

What makes this property unique

One of the things I love about this place is its location. There is a not-well-traveled road that runs in front of it, but there are no visible neighbors which means LOTS of privacy!
