The condo is in a great location and was very clean and well equipped. Having parking was a huge bonus. Some reviewers have mentioned construction noise, but we heard nothing. I would give the unit five stars, except for two small items. 1) the head of the bed on the pull-out sofa is slightly inclined - perhaps we did not set it up properly, but we tried; and 2) the den is very small and is essentially a triangular doorless cutout/closet off the hallway with a bed and a dresser. I looked up "den" and found these four definitions, none of which apply: a) the lair or shelter of a wild animal, especially a predatory mammal [my mom used the den, she is neither wild or predatory]; b) a room, often secluded, in a house or apartment, designed to provide a quiet, comfortable, and informal atmosphere for conversation, reading, writing, etc.[the den does not have a door, chair or enough room for conversation] c) a cave used as a place of shelter or concealment [it is not a cave]; d) a squalid or vile abode or place: dens of misery [definitely not this].

The place was very comfortable, but referring to the extra bed as being located in a den may be a bit of an exaggeration.

Yes, and the sushi... We went to the sushi restaurant in the building and asked them to prepare a meal for us - chef's choice. We love sushi and eat it frequently. This meal was our best, bar none.

Hello,

We were 4 nights @ this ocean view Patio.
It was a great stay, you are close to stanley park,
you are 9 blocks from the waterfront,
and you cross the bridge to Granville Island.
The appartment has everything what you need,
It's safe and you have a great view.
I'm sure we wil be back some time.

Early spring in Vancouver...

We spent 5 nights in this appartment and really enjoyed how close to everything it was. The waterfront seawall is just steps away, really convenient way to visit the city, just 3km to the beginning of Stanley Park. Granville Island is also really accessible by foot or aquabus where there is great shopping and a great market. The appartment has a great view but was partly obscured by the construction site next door. The noise didn't bother us and the place is really quiet at night. We enjoyed the pool, computer, satellite TV and found the phone provided to be quite useful too. A nice modern appartment, really clean in a safe area but we found it might not be very suitable for more than 2-3 people. The place really made us feel like real Vancouverites and we would definitely go back!

The true meaning of home away

This place is the best most affordable place ever...we have stayed in a few home away spots and by far this is the best, you have everything at hand. The location is perfect, walking distance to everything. The view is spectacular and the place is clean and perfect for a comfortable stay. This appartment is amazing. EVERYTHING you could ever need is provided. It is clean ,modern, exactly as shown on the picture.
The owner, Scott, is always checking with a text or a mail if everything is ok.
Awesome location, walking distance to a lot of things.
Nice view. If you are two couples (pull out couch is very comfortable) it is cheaper than a hotel and way more comfortable..
Will stay there again if I am in Vancouver and recommend it to friends.
