Apartment is located above a Security Showroom directly across from St. Mary's Hospital (where prince was recently born!) and only a one minute walk from Paddington Station.
There are several flights of stairs to climb after entering through the front door so access to disabled or elderly may be limited.
Upon entering the apartment you will be greeted by the tiled terracotta floors, a huge skylight and exposed brick wall of the living/dining room. A compact but well equipped kitchen also awaits you. There is also a small rooftop patio for barbequing or sunbathing (weather permitting).
Also on the first floor of the maisonette is a large bedroom comprising 4 single beds, walk-in closet and a gas fireplace. The windows look out onto busy, cosmopolitan Praed Street.
We have just had a brand new 2nd bathroom installed on the lower floor, featuring a shower (no bath).
Up one flight of stairs you will find three additional bedrooms, the bathroom and a utility closet. Two of the bedrooms are medium size furnished with queen size beds, while the third is much smaller and features a single bed. Floors on the upper level are hardwood except for the bathroom which features black and white tiling.
Recessed lighting is featured throughout the apartment. There is central heating but no air conditioning. A cleaner is available on request (at your own expense).
If you are part of a large group you can also rent our next door property which has 3 bedrooms and 1 bath and can sleep 7 persons.

The property has been in our family for over 60 years. My father started the business on the ground floor as a bicycle (and scooter) repair shop. He later expanded into cutting keys and eventually into a fully fledged locksmith firm. Today my 3 brothers and one sister continue the tradition! My role, since my older brother and his family moved out, is to keep the upstairs flat rented out as frequently as possible. The family is of Italian/Irish/Scottish decent. (We also have a property in Barga, Tuscany (Italy) listed with VRBO).
Its proximity to many London sights and the easy access from Heathrow makes the location an ideal one!
The fact that there is almost always someone in the downstairs Security Showroom whom you can go to with problems and/or queries is definetely a bonus!
