Great rental home in a fabulous, centrally located area, close to everything. Sarasota 10-15min. Venice over the bridge, Englewood-Dearborn St 10-15min. There is so much to do and see in the area. Great beaches. Good for walking, shelling, birding, etc...There are walking trails all over,Legacy Trail goes for miles. The home itself is very well equiped from bedding linens to bath towels. I brought all kinds of things I didn't need (I could because I drove). There are beach chairs and coolers. The kitchen is very well equipped also. The back yard is wonderful, very old Florida-ish. Grapefruit tree and spanish moss hanging from the oaks. Very serene. The house has plenty of space for those quiet moments too, a little book reading, maybe?!? Kelly called as soon as we arrived to make sure everything was to our needs. Also gave us a few tips for restaurants. The all-u-can-eat shrimp at Left Coast Seafood is so well worth it, and the staff is very friendly. I made Thanksgiving dinner and my guests all commented on the lovely home. Thanks to Skip and Kelly for sharing their lovely home.
I was able to bring my dog, and what a fabulous time she had. Love the 'doggie' beach, we both did!
