Well-designed, and beautifully decorated, studio with completely-equipped kitchen. Queen bed and a separate sitting area with a double sofa bed. Large lanai with room to dine and awesome ocean and shoreline view (with city lights at night). The condo has a remodeled full bath, a/c, 27' LG LCD TV with cable. It is located on a top floor and quiet for sleeping. The kitchen has a full-size fridge, microwave, stove, convection oven, coffeemaker, toaster, rice cooker, pot/pans, dishes, flatware, etc. Small and convenient, the building is called The Seashore because it is 150 feet from Waikiki Beach at the Hulu Mound. There is a community laundry, two elevators, secured entry to the lobby. Nestled between Waikiki Resort Hotel and Hyatt Regency Resort, The Seashore is a 5 minute walk to everything: There are restaurants, shopping, grocery, beach, gym, bus lines, and Kapiolani Park (the zoo, aquarium, playing field and trails). To say that this is a convenient location is an understatement.

Comfortable & Conveniently Located Condo

Wonderful condo! The location cannot be beat, just a block from the beach. There was some construction going on while we were there but the room is high up enough that we slept with the lanai door open with no problems or noise concerns.

TONS of cookware/dishes (seriously every tool we could have needed was there) for those times we didn't want to go out to eat. Loads of extra towels and sheets, there was even snorkel gear!

Mike maintained communication during the months between booking and our stay, always answering within 24 hours.

You really can't beat this price or location. The only thing that would have made it better would have been sharper knives in the kitchen :)

I know that they're building a new International Market Place just a few blocks away--gosh, there seems to be building all over the south shore of Oahu--and really glad that the noise wasn't an issue (even with the lanai door open to enjoy the ocean breezes :-). A wonderful vacation property

In our 20 years of wintering in Hawaii this has been among the top 3 places to stay. Best of all is the location. So handy to the beach and The Bus service for my wife who is having some mobility problems at present. The property itself is so well kept and nicely furnished. The kitchen is excellent as it is so well stocked with cooking and eating things. It was just like home. Mike was very good with us and anything brought to his attention was looked after well and quickly. And what a wonderful experience it is to take your meals on the lanai and admire the ocean view, or just sit out there and enjoy the beauty of Hawaii!! I have no hesitation in recommending this property to friends and relatives, and we just so sincerely hope we can get back again to enjoy what this property has to offer.

Perfect for my stay in Waikiki

I booked this unit for one month so I could complete my training for the Honolulu Marathon. Location was perfect and close to Kapiolani Park and the beach. The unit itself had everything I needed. I especially appreciated the kitchen and full-size refrigerator since I prefer to make my own meals as opposed to going out to eat. When I did eat out, there was no shortage of restaurants in the area, including a vegan place called 'Ruffage' on Kuhio Ave. Lots of Nightlife in the area as well. If you like karaoke, 'Wang Chung's' is only a block away. Fun place!

I would definitely consider renting from Mike again in the future. This unit was comfortable, affordable, and convienient. I did not need a car during my one month stay. The Bus travels up and down Kuhio Ave. and I used it when necessary, otherwise, I generally preferred to walk everywhere.

I didn't have any major issues, just a few questions during my stay. Mike promptly answered them via email. I would definitely recommend this unit to a friend or anyone interested in a unique Waikiki experience.

So convenient and close to the beach!

This condo's main caveat is location, location, location. I couldn't help sitting on the lanai and looking over at the weddings and other events at the Hyatt across the street and thinking about how much money I was saving! :)

While the accommodations were in no way luxurious, I feel it was a very fair value. You get what you see here and the pictures provide a good representation of what you get. The building itself is a little shop worn due to its age, but is convenient to everything! The tour busses pick you up just down the street if you want an excursion, ABC across the street as well as a great MASUBI place at the Pacific Monarch and so many shops and restaurants nearby.

My favorite thing was sitting on the lanai, having a tropical fruit breakfast and watching the surfers and the ships go by or having an ice cold beer and watching the sunset after a day of swimming at Kuhio beach. Don't neglect snorkeling along the inside if the wall! We saw lots of fish, a few eels and beautiful Moorish Idols.

Our favorite restaurant was Marukame Udon on Kuhio and Sunset happy hour with a fantastic view at Top of Waikiki on Kalakawa.

It's the perfect spot for a couple who spends most of their day out and about with just enough amenities to suit your needs.

Excellence, with a view!

We arrived in Honolulu with one of the hottest summers on record. The property was inviting, and well equipped. for occupancy, heck even the ice bucket was full and ready to go.

The property was just as described, with a spectacular view. It was well situated within walking distance to everything Waikiki. The bed was comfortable and provided several nights of restful sleep. The kitchen well stocked, with everything needed to prepare your own Hawaiian meals.

Another aspect we really enjoyed, the 9th floor. It provided us the ability to get up off, and away from the street noise. It was so convenient to get up in the AM go across the street, swim and return to breakfast, return in the afternoon walk across the street and see a beautiful sunset.

We are a "definite" to return and utilize the property again.

Great ocean view condo

I personally had a great experience staying at this condo for 5 weeks while I was in Waikiki for work. The check in process was easy, the room was clean, there were plenty of amenities provided for the stay, and the best part - a block away from the beach. Mike was there via email to answers questions within an hour of the email being sent. It was perfect for me, being there by myself. The lanai was my favorite hang out while at the condo. Watching the pink sky come in over the water every night was beautiful!

There are restaurants, shopping, grocery, beach, gym, and all bus lines all within 5 minutes. Kapiolani Park, offering a vast array of of recreation possibilities (jogging, playing fields, hiking, gardens, the Honolulu Zoo, the Waikiki Shell and aquarium) is just 7 minutes walk. To say that this is a convenient location is an understatement.
