Perfect Little Log Cabin!

We stayed at Bob & Elinor's Cedar Log Home from May 6 - 13. We wanted a nice comfortable place to come "home" to after spending long days in Yosemite. This is the nicest place we have ever stayed at on a vacation. So much better than a hotel..... It had all the comforts of home; a beautiful well appointed kitchen, cozy living/TV room, great front porch with table & chairs, a glider and a great view of the yard, wonderful laundry room, and nice size bedrooms and bathrooms. Everything was immaculately clean and decorated just like a log cabin should be. My daughter said the futon in the den was surprisingly comfortable. There was a computer and lots of travel books to help us look up travel info, etc. The location is in the country, but close enough to Oakhurst, Mariposa and Yosemite so that the drive to all of these places was between ten to 45 minutes. The grocery store in Oakhurst had everything we needed in the way of groceries, and more. There are plenty of restaurants in Oakhurst and Mariposa, too. We enjoyed grilling dinner on the brand new gas grill and eating on the porch several of the evenings. This home is very well maintained and a true gem among rental properties. If we ever come to Yosemite in the future, we will definitely make reservations with the Todd's again.
