We are Dutch pensionado's and stayed in Jim Kramers Rincon-apartment in january 2011 and february 2012 for 5 and 6 weeks. We enjoyed every minute of it. The apartment, though build in the 1950ties, is spacious and functional and fully equipped with everything one needs. Including the most comfortable club fauteuils we ever have sat in! TV with lots of Spanish and English channels, and a mediaplayer with hundreds of movies and TV-series on it.



The broadband internet wifi connection is very fast and reliable.



From the balcony (sitting in the sun all day, if you so desire) you look straight upon the beach and the nice and long boulevard, where people stroll all day long and have lunch or dinner at one of the many beach restaurants. Shops and 2 supermarkets are within walking distance.



Rincon de la Victoria is – at least in the winter - not a tourist place, but still a very Spanish place to be. We enjoyed our stay both times and will surely come back again.

Rincon again

It was our second trip to Rincon and there were still plenty of things to see and do. We really enjoyed the dolphinarium, the falconry show on a mountain in Benalmadena , and the butterfly park. The owner was friendly and helpful just like the last time. Overall, Rincon is a relaxing and cozy place to stay. It is not overcrowded by tourists and has lots of charm. We were happy to visit it again, and there is a big chance we'll come back for one of our next vacations!

Fantastic stay

We really enjoyed the apartment - was much bigger than we expected and had little extras like a child's nightlife and bucket and spade plus a good selection of books - which made life easy for us. We would go back. Great location with a lovely view of the sea.

Quel bonheur ces huit semaines !

C'est notre troisième séjour sur la Costa del Sol ,et le premier à Rincon de la Victoria.Quel bonheur de vivre dans un milieu jeune,typiquement Espagnol ,loin de la cohue des centres touristiques...

La proximité de Malaga et la facilité des moyens de transport nous ont permis de rayonner dans la région et d'apprécier ce coin de L'Andalousie.Pas besoin de voiture,tout est accessible à pieds.

Concernant l'appartement,tout était parfait:propre,très bien équipé.Il nous manquait peut-être la télé en français,mais comme nous avions le wi-fi ,nous pouvions rester en contact avec ce qui se passait à l'extérieur...

Merci à Judith et Jim pour leur gentillesse ,leurs bons conseils et leur grande disponibilité .La rapidité de leur réponse à nos demandes nous a vraiment étonnés.

De retour dans l'hiver du Québec,nous regrettons le bruit de la mer et nos belles promenades le long de la plage.Nous souhaitons revivre cela l'hiver prochain.

Nous recommandons fortement cette location et si nous revenons en Espagne,ce sera notre premier choix.

Perfect Location

A great location: south facing and directly opposite the beach. Within easy walking distance of all the facilities of Rincon de la Victoria; as well as being an easy bus ride away from Malaga. There were only two of us so plenty of space; but even with four people the apartment would have been more than adequate.The owners were unobtrusive but always willing to help in any way.

Our second stay in Jim and Judith's apartment and we enjoyed it just as much as the first time - all I can do is reiterate the comments I made in our first review - this apartment and its position suit us so well and Rincon is a delightful place. We'll be back I hope!

A place to visit again and again

The apartment is actually in Rincon de la Victoria which is a delightful town where you rarely hear languages other than Spanish. This was our second stay and it was just as good second time around. It is ideal for those who like a beach holiday, to walk, either along the very long promenade or into the hills. Cafes and bars are open all day but restaurants tend to open only after 9.00pm. We haven't had a disappointing meal in any of the many we tried. There are excellent patisseries and a supermarket a few minutes away. Apart from being charming the owners were assiduous in looking after us, for example, in arranging taxi transfers to and from Malaga Airport and changing linen and towels etc.
