We have lived in the neighborhood for over 18 years. We live in the lower level of this house and it is our dream home. Maintaining the house and gardens is a labor of love for us. We have been hosting through VRBO for over 5 years and have thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We have met people from all over the world.

Bryant Street Flat

  • 5 of 5

We had a fantastic stay at Bryant Street Flat. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Denver. A simply elegant decor with all the amenities. Clean and very comfortable. Close to major highway connections for your touring ease, yet within walking distance of local eateries. The absolutely only draw back for some would be the three flight stairway to the apartment. We hope to return to Bryant Street Flat when in Denver again!

Nice flat in charming historic neighborhood

  • 4 of 5

Very comfortable an well-kept flat on the top floor of a historic Highlands neighborhood mansion. Owners made us feel at home - the fresh baked banana bread on arrival was a nice touch! My only criticism is that when the flat was remodeled very little attention was paid to the historical integrity of the building - the fixtures, doors, hardware, carpet, etc appear to be right off the shelf of cookie-cutter home suppliers Home Depot and Lowes. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay completely

Exceeded Expectations--Perfect for a family

  • 5 of 5

We just returned from a three-night stay at the Bryant Street Flat. I was traveling with my two sons, ages 4 and 6, and this vrbo had everything we needed. The yard includes a large play structure and sandbox for kids, and you can keep an eye on them from the kitchen window. Everything is clean and the kitchen has all the basics plus some extras like spices and some plastic containers for picnics. Darci and Dave seem to have thought of everything; you are a bit cold on the couch and there are blankets in a basket next to you, or you finish reading your novel and there are 20 books of various genres in the master bedroom. There is a pack and play for babies and toddlers. Plenty of linens and towels are provided.

The house is in a historic district and street parking was available, and we were a quick drive to anything we needed. The Highlands downtown seemed like a good place to hang out or have a meal and older children and adults could walk there easily.

One item to note: you have to climb some steep stairs outside to get to the flat. I am a 40ish mom with two kids and this presented no problem except I struggled a bit with our suitcase, but someone with physical limitations might have trouble with the steps.

Highly recommended for families or small groups.

Fantastic place, Excellent location!!!

  • 5 of 5

We had family stay here while they were in town for a birthday party. The place is amazing! Beautiful, elegant and well stocked. The location could not be more perfect; close to downtown AND on a great street with some of the old Denver Taquerias and new fangled yogurt. It is a very eclectic and beautiful neighborhood. The apartment is gorgeous. Lots of room and perfect for either two couples or a family. We have used VRBO in Europe and have had great luck THIS place is the Gem of them all!

A little home away from home!

  • 5 of 5

I have always rented a hotel or through a rental agency and was a little apprehensive to deal with individual proprietors. Darci and Dave quickly alleviated my concerns with their professionalism and timely communication. The flat is very clean and inviting. It is located in a charming neighborhood that is conveniently located minutes away from downtown Denver. Street parking available. Highly recommended!

The listing description is very accurate for this property. If anything, the photos don't do it the justice it deserves. The location is fantastic, in a lovely neighbourhood, with views of the Rockies and within pleasant walking distance of Downtown Denver. The property was very clean, comfortable, well maintained and everything had been thought of down to the small details. Dave and Darci provided us with customer service beyond the call of duty and were delightful and extremely helpful and friendly. We have already recommended this property to friends and look forward to returning ourselves.

We loved Denver, notably the Art Museum, the Children's Museum and Tattered Cover Book Store. Within 30 minutes drive, we also enjoyed the Dinosaur Ridge and Lookout Mountain. Further afield pan for gold at Argo Mill and Mine at Idaho Springs, visit Evergreen for a beautiful alpine lake, the Rockies from Estes Park for immense, majestic beauty, the Garden of the Gods at Colorado Springs for amazing rock formations.

We loved Little Man ice cream, were comforted by The Delectable Egg, and Park Burger (just around the corner) has without doubt the best burgers we have ever tasted.
