Beautiful cabin
Lots of room. Great quiet location. Fully functional kitchen. Although, some pots and pans could be tossed in the garbage as they have been ruined from past guests. Some had deep scratches in them which are now harmful to cook food in. There’s a plethora of light switches on all the walls. And we had a hard time figuring out which switch did what. Overall great place to spend the weekend.

Lovely cabin in the woods!
This is a great spot for relaxing, listening to birds, and watching the squirrels frolic in the trees. My one suggestion is that the spiral staircase be highlighted more in the description. I was traveling with an older relative with physical challenges and she was not able to take advantage of the upstairs space, which is really lovely, BTW.

Quiet Little Getaway
My overall impression of this property, the stay, and the hosts were "Wow!" From the first point of contact, the details were seamless and easy. The cabin was so quaint and cozy, like you were staying at grandma and grandpa's house in the woods. The landscape was stunning with tall trees. The back deck looked out into the forest. Large fire pit with plenty of wood available where the boys roasted s'mores and played cards. Lots of seating available outside and inside with little nooks if you want some time alone to read. There was a large private sunroom to enjoy your morning coffee or tea. There's just so much to say about the place from bottom to top; love the location close to the main town and would definitely stay again. You'll just have to experience it for yourself!

I am a retired business man from the POS/cash register industry. I now manage our 6 vacation rental properties and try to find time to golf and travel with my wife. My wife, Deb is a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Why they chose this property

The location is incredible as it backed by National forest and is at the end of a cult-e-sac. It is very quiet and peaceful with great views into the forest from the covered deck.

What makes this property unique

We love staying here when we can and enjoying our home away from home.
