About this property

Your first morning in Alcudia, in the holiday chalet 'Marigolf', will never be forgotten. Directly from the bedroom, you will find not only the light blue pool but also the fantastic view of the Bay of Alcudia and the lighthouse island of Aucanada. At one side you can see the dark blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea with its white-crested waves; on the other side, you can delight with the vibrant green colour of the currently most beautiful golf course in Europe. Welcome to Aucanada, one of the most beautiful places in northern Mallorca. Welcome to the holidaymakers' paradise! It is not exclusive for experienced golf fans. The villa features 3 bedrooms with en suite bathroom; two of them have sea view and direct access to the pool. In addition, the open plan red Miele kitchen has access to the upper terrace and living room.

Schönes Haus mit wunderbaren Aussicht

Ein schönes Ferienhaus in einer ruhigen, schönen Gegend. Das Haus ist wunderschön auf einem Hügel gelegen und die Aussicht ist grandios. Auch der Pool ist ganz wunderbar. Die Ausstattung ist durchaus ausreichend, uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Über die Treppen kommt man zur Bucht, ein paar Restaurants und einem kleinen Supermarkt.

Great retreat in Mallorca

We had a fantastic stay at Marigolf. It is located in a quaint neighborhood, away from all the noise and crowds of the resort areas. The villa itself is perched up on a hill with great views of the water and distant hills. Afternoon breeze makes the summer heat comfortable and keeps away the bugs. The pool is great and bigger than it appears in the pictures. The villa was very clean and has massive sliding glass doors that open it up to the outside. It is a great place to relax. Having spent some time exploring the island, I think this is the best area. It is minutes to Old Alcudia, Pollenca, beaches and water activities. We spent a couple of days kiteboarding at Mallorca Kiteboarding which was fantastic. There are many good restaurants in the area, including one just around the corner called Alcanda 35, and the best grocery store we found was Eroskis in Old Alcudia. Having a car is a must. We had a great stay at Marigolf and would highly recommend it. Thanks for allowing us to stay at your beautiful property.

Einfach Großartig

Auch wenn Alcudia und die direkte Umgebung viel zu bieten hat, fällt es einem schwer sich von der schönen Terrasse mit ihrem spektakulären Ausblick zu trennen. Die Ausrichtung nach Osten, mit dem damit verbundenen Schatten ab dem späten Nachmittag, war in unserer Reisezeit (Juli, tgl. 32°) ein voller Gewinn. Darüber hinaus spendierte die Hanglage immer etwas frische Luft. Das Haus hat eine gute Ausstattung und die Klimaanlage funktioniert auch einwandfrei. Zwei große Kühlschränke halten die Verpflegung und die Getränke am leben so dass auch mal größere Einkäufe ihren Platz finden. Zum Einkaufen generell. Ein Auto ist zu empfehlen, da die einzige in Nähe befindliche Einkaufsmöglichkeit nur beschwerlich zu erreichen ist (viele Treppen, kleiner Spar-Markt, teuer) . Aber mit einem Fahrzeug sind in knapp 10min größere Märkte vor Ort (bsp. Lidl). Die Treppen sind generell kein wirklicher Spaß, es sei denn man möchte sie als Sportgerät nutzen, was wir und auch einige einheimische tatsächlich getan haben. Aber sie sind auch kein unüberwindbares Hindernis, da selbst "Opa" mit seinen 70 Lenzen jeden Morgen aus dem Spar frische Brötchen geholt hat. Abschließend möchte ich noch dem Hausverwalter und natürlich dem Vermieter für den netten Kontakt und den wunderschönen Urlaub danken.

ein schönes Haus mit kleinen Abstrichen

Insgesamt ein schönes Haus. Die Aussicht ist phantastisch. Man kann sie aus fast allen Zimmern genießen. Leider ist das 3. Schlafzimmer klein und dunkel. Die Betten im 2. + 3. Schlafraum müssten erneuert werden. Es fehlt etwas Equipment wie z.B. ein Besen.

Why they chose this property

This house is so beautiful that we simply could not resist to it. Currently we are living in another house in Alcudia, and we are pleased to rent this villa for the coming period to demanding but friendly holiday makers. In addition, Marigolf offers 3 bedrooms and an absolutely family-friendly environment although it could also be the absolut perfect getaway for couples. There a only five steps between your four poster and the pool. Or vice versa...

What makes this property unique

With the new government on Mallorca the illegal renting of houses and apartments with paying of tax and tourist fees became a serious case. With the first day of renting out “Marigolf” we founded a little Spanish Company to declare tax and business. We are certified by the minister of tourism. That means you will get an official contract and bill with Spanish VAT. So if you a travel insurance, so are on the safe side.

Our administrator speaks English, Spanish and German. He will welcome you in the “Marigolf” and will check you out. He will coordinate with you the dates of cleaning, gardening and pool keeping. When we are not on the island – he is your man for every question or problem.
