Photos and Description of this holiday studio in La Ribera El Borne
Studio, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 2)
Nearest Subway station: JAUME I
Cozy 30 sq mt loft, recently updated with high quality furniture. Wood beamed ceilings & a cool ambience makes for an extremely inviting getaway. A small balcony overlooks this quiet, pedestrian-only street in the heart of Barcelona’s fashionable Born district.
El Born is the quaintest and quietest neighborhood within the Gothic district. Its meandering, medieval streets are not just lined with history, but also boutiques, tapas bars and gourmet restaurants. Its plazas offer you outdoor eating and a place to ponder what life must have been like here in the Middle Ages.
Breathtaking palaces and museums (Picasso, Costume History) are just steps away. The Palau de la Musica, The Ramblas, The Boqueria Market, The Plaza Reial and even the beach are within an easy walking distance.
A 3-minute walk to the subway at Jaume I, to the Picasso Museum and 5 minutes to St. Caterina Market.

Guestbook comments from the owner
In my 60s. Job: video director. Love travelling all over the world. Fond of doing as host to travellers and giving advises and information about this special city. Cooking and wine tasting amateur.
I'm barcelonian and love my city. I've been living in the area for more than 10 years and I always had the feeling that walking around just to get some fruit or milk is like a daily present. There is a unique atmosphere in the old streets around. The studio is redecorated every few years improving the interior, amenities and atmosphere. There is a guest book in the apartment and 100% of remarks are positive. This is a place made as if I went abroad I'd like to get something like that to live in.
The space itself is a very pleasant place to stay with all kind of amenities you could need.
Within 2 minutes walking you can get:
-Sta Maria del Mar a Gothic Church of the XIV century
- Step distance to top restaurants
-Beautiful medieval streets with arty shops, cool fashion stores, a nice train station, a green park with museums and a Zoo
-Vila Viniteca: A wine store with more than 3000 spanish wines. Experts shop assistants.

-a long long beach with showers, bars, sailing activities (at 10 minutes walking)
