Each apartment is of 250-300 sq.m and sleeps 8 people + children. We try to give our guests, everything we missed in our travels: quality and nice furnishings, a well equipped kitchen, large living-room, relaxed and family friendly atmosphere. We offer in the historic setting of a former inn with dance hall above the vineyards of the Pillnitz Castle 2 apartments and 3 hectares of land with playground, orchards, grazing area with sheep, forest with stream where to play and meadows. You will be surrounded by the nature and can watch buzzards when hunting, bats in the evening, make a campfire and the next morning enjoy all the advantages of a cultural city in the centre of Dresden (25 min). Right outside the door, start hiking trails in the vineyards or the Saxon Switzerland, which were a much-used route by the painters of the Romantic period. You can follow the footsteps of Caspar David Friedrich. We are pleased to welcome friendly travelling dogs and we have enough space for play and adventure. Nearby you can taste wine, and excellent food, swim in the natural lake, wander through forests, visit museums, theatres or the opera or go shopping in beautiful boutiques. Dresden offers a lot! You can stay here 4 weeks without get bored. We will be pleased to provide you with insider-information. We really enjoy having guests that use the space, the facilities, and the equipped kitchen! We offer all guests upon arrival a basic supply of: coffee, tea, milk, dish washing and laundry detergents, toilet paper, butter, bread on the day of arrival and other daily essentials!

About Markus Thielmann Holiday-Management Christliebehof.
I grew up in western Germany near the Dutch border and married a a person of Dresden. We have 4 children, a dog and acquired this historic property in 2010. We almost developed everything by ourselves, in order to welcome nice guests. We look forward to receive guests from all over the world and are sure that you will love our homes and the land!

You can find rarely the combination of pure nature and city. We are living that situation. With 15 minutes walking distance through the forest you can reach the Pillnitz Castle and are very close to all public transport. The place is steeped in history, because the Saxon King spent his free time here at summer. The „Schönfelder Hochland“, that is how the plateau above Dresden is named, situated above the former royal vineyards. It is known for its fruit trees in blossom and also for its forests and network of hiking trails!
