Ideally located near the charming village of Tubac, this well appointed custom home is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the town where 'Art meets History'. The home backs up to an active creek with no homes in view, only the beautiful mountain ranges in the distance. The famed De Anza trail easily accessible just behind the yard. This home has a very private back patio/yard with mature plantings to relax and get away from it all. Or spend time in the charming little interior courtyard. The home sleeps 6 comfortably and is fully equipped with everything you will need for a week's stay or longer. Many upgrades were made to this new home - custom stained concrete flooring throughout, stainless appliances, tiled bathrooms, carved wood detailing, custom window coverings, granite counters and more. New furniture with designer details will make this feel like your home away from home - in the sun!

Five minute walk to the new Plaza de Anza, with wonderful bakery cafe, restaurants and world-class cooking school. Three minute bike ride or ten minute walk to center of Village, full of interesting, galleries, shops, a great bookstore, delightful restaurants and interesting culture. Just over a mile to the Tubac Golf Resort & Spa, home to an excellent 27-hole Red Lawrence course, great practice facilities, two superb restaurants and brand new full-service spa. Excellent road and mountain biking from the front door. 2 bicycles and helmets in the garage are available for use, perfect for exploring amazing Tubac Village and surrounding area!

About The Owner

We are Seattle natives but now spend half of the year in Seattle in our downtown condo or in our home on Vashon Island, and in our Arizona homes (Tubac and Tucson Foothills which is available for rent). We also love Hawaii and have a condo there that can also be rented through VRBO (our downtown Seattle condo is too). Working in sports television has its perks, but after many days on the road our favorite things to do are spend relaxing days in the beautiful places we call home. While in Tubac we love to walk to dinner at some of the fabulous restaurants, take walks along the de Anza trail behind out home, go hiking, ride our bikes around visiting galleries, and of course we just relax in the sun! Tubac is one of our favorite places on Earth and we hope you are able to enjoy it as well.

We LOVE Tubac! We fell in love with it on our many visits from our home in Tucson for fabulous shopping and dining. It is a magical place where time stands still, history comes alive and you can immerse yourself in the small town Southwest lifestyle.

What makes this house unique

It was important to us to have a home that did not back up to other homes. We wanted the feel of being out in the great expanse of land that extends to the mountains beyond. We were lucky enough to get that house that backs up to the De Anza walking trail and active wash. At the same time we wanted to be within walking distance of the shops and restaurants we have come to love so much. With this beautiful custom home you get it all!

Beautiful home! Biked daily to pool and town. Everything we could want was there. The wildflowers and birds were amazing this time of year.
