This medieval farmhouse, tastefully renovated, is located on the bottom of the mountains, about 2 km from Sansepolcro, the city that gave birth to the famous Early Renaissance painter Piero della Francesca. View over the Tiber Valley. In the lower area, close to the partially covered terrace (pizza oven!), there is a large taverna with arches, a fireplace and a professionally equipped kitchen. In the upper zone, with separate entrance on the ground floor, on the side of the mountain, there are most of the bedrooms, each with private bath, some with its own kitchenette. The comfortable furniture is made of chestnut wood in simple peasant style and fits perfectly with the natural stone or terracotta floors and beamed ceilings. The large swimming pool adjacent to the house, with its panoramic terrace, offers a fascinating view from all sides (ideal for groups of painting!). The house is part of an estate of 300 hectares, with more isolated farms (see ITA186, ITA266, and ITA331) : a special experience for the kids! It is also worth visiting the nearby town of Sansepolcro, Anghiari and Citta di Castello. Cot and cook on request. Pool towels available for hire on request. Dirt track access road. The property can not be reached by a large bus.
