Wonderful stone country house with lots of space and lots of charm: stone walls, exposed ceiling beams and a large fireplace. The outdoor area, an enclosed garden with a circular pool and a pond, will also do it to you. Near Saint-Rémy-de-Provence you can visit Glanum, the ruins of a former Roman settlement, and in the town itself you can stroll through the beautiful alleys and see the artisans' studios. Here you will spend your vacation in the Alpilles and thus not far from cities worth seeing such as Les Baux-de-Provence, Fontaine-de-Vaucluse, Tarascon and L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue.

Magical property in wonderful location!

We have a marvelous stay in this property. The property itself is a true Provençal farmhouse with original features - just beautiful! Even when the weather was in the 90s it was cool. Swimming pool was very well used too! Beds were really comfy and the kitchen was very well stocked. A 10-minute walk to the old town of Saint Remy with its restaurants, cafes, boutiques - location was exceptional. There's also a bull run arena across the road which our family enjoyed - not bull fights, to be clear, but bull runs. Only slight hiccup was the communication about check in from the property manager, who told me to confirm our timings with the owner - who does not speak English. We figured it out but it wasn't the smoothest process. The owner's son, who does speak a little English, was our main contact and in fact lives in an adjacent property, which was handy. Lastly, the property comes fully loaded with bed linens/pillows, etc. but there are no bath towels at the property so you'll need to bring your own. We stay in VRBOs regularly and this is definitely on our "must go back" list. It really is a gem.

Maison authentique à 2 pas du centre

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette ancienne maison pleine de cachet, située à 10 minutes à pied du centre de St-Remy. La propriétaire et son fils sont très sympathiques et en savent long sur l’histoire de la ville et les choses à voir dans la région.
