Dramatic villa with 3,000 square feet of living space. Seafront/Beach location with an excellent staff set upon 2.5 acres of natural fields of Mango, Grapefruit, Papaya and Sweet Sop trees. Seafront Terrace and Pool with spectacular panoramic views. Set unseen on a private lane off the country road sits La Casa Duna. Your viewpoint here stretches far into the distance down the coast of Treasure Beach and it´s small beaches and rock pools to Great Pedro Bluff.

High open beamed ceilings throughout offer great indoor/outdoor living. Spacious Living and Dining rooms open through polished French doors to the expansive terraces, pool and Caribbean beyond. Large seafront Master Bedroom with King size bed and en suite bath/shower. Two Garden side Bedrooms ( one with queen size bed, one with twins ) share a large bathroom/shower. Caretaker quarters are set unobtrusively off the entryway to the house.

Down the stairs to the new reef protected private beach which is yours. Turn left and follow a short walkway two minutes along the waters edge to a spectacular beach and swimming hole.

Amazing day trips easily arranged. Go up the Black River to see the Crocs, Birds and amazing wildlife of the Great Morass, visit beautiful YS Falls, Floyd´s Pelican Bar atop the reef, the Appleton Rum Estate, Sunny Island and great snorkeling and fishing trips are just a few possibilities.

No cars, no road noise, no higglers, no tourist throngs--nothing but the sound of the Sea and the sight of a beach where the first footprints of the day are yours.

La Casa Duna is fully staffed. Miss Bev and her daughter Pheona will see to all of your needs in the house and work closely with you on your meal planning. Two amazing people and cooks. Len Parchment ( Bev´s Brother ) cares for the property and is the man to talk to about all things outside the house and any trips you may wish to take. An excellent Grillmaster.

Why Chris MacBrien chose Treasure Beach

I first travelled to Treasure Beach for the Christmas with my parents on what was truly an adventure. We stayed at another house for three Christmas´ and fell in love with the area, the location, the Sea, the pace of life, the food and of course the people. Many of whom I have grown up with and are dear friends. There was this empty house for sale at the end of the beach on top of the bluff and the rest is the amazing journey.

What makes this villa unique

Bev, Len and Pheona ( Staff ). Total privacy. The view from the front Terrace up the coast to Great Pedro Bluff. The amazing swimming beach just below. Snorkelling in front of the house. The sound of the Sea. The gentle breeze through the house. The Garden side in the morning with the Hummingbirds and Lizards. The Food.........The Food........The Food

Spectacular Getaway!

  • 5 of 5

Casa Duna is a beautiful home which is nicely secluded but located near a lovely town. The house and the people who work there are amazing. The food is delicious, better than any restaurant. The house is perfectly clean and every day while we were out basking in the sun on the beach or sitting by the pool or touring the island the ladies always tidied up so we retuned to a fresh house with our things neatly tucked away in their spot. Every morning we got up and went for a swim with our morning coffee before breakfast. This is a home to stay in with your family or a romantic getaway for two. We can't say enough about this wonderful place. We will be back and we hated to leave.

The Perfect Holiday

  • 5 of 5

La Casa Duna was just what my wife and I needed after a dreary winter on the East Coast.

The staff made us feel very welcome and cared for and oh...the food! Fresh fish, prepared wonderfully with much thought was given to our every need.

This was the third time that we have been there and the property looks more beautiful with every trip.

To us, not having cell phone signal and TV was a big plus, as the reason we wanted to go on vacation was to "vacate" our exceedingly busy lives! The slow pace and the warm people are what continues to and will continue to draw us there...

Girls week

  • 3 of 5

La Casa Duna is a very quiet villa sitting atop the bluff. The decor is very nice and we spent alot of time sitting on the verandah watching and listening to the ocean. Bev made some wonderful meals for us and she and Pheona took really good care of the villa. Len spoiled us by being our bodyguard and caretaker and he makes some awesome sweets!!! Our days were filled with the sun, sand, water and fun, but the evenings were boring for 2 of us. We had the understanding that there was a TV for watching DVD's and also adult games to play. Come to find out the TV was broken and the only game was backgammon. Luckily we brought reading material and there were also many books on hand to read as well. My biggest complaint for the whole week were the bugs, specifically the fire ants. I had them in my suitcase and backpack when I got home and even had them coming out of my laptop for several days.

All in all, the villa was beautiful and my time with my close friends was wonderful and I cannot say enough about the staff who went out of their way to accomodate us and make us feel welcome and safe. Also, all communication with Chris, the villa owner, was very positive and he responded to emails quickly.

Nice with a few problems

  • 2 of 5

The villa was nice but with a few problems. Bev is a good cook, Jerk Chicken, Lobster and fish, Yumm. The villa is nice and I did have fun while I was there until I seen the roach run across the kitchen counter. When we arrived we found there was no TV so I read books after dinner. Readding was a little hard due to the lighting was very low and a few of the lamps did not have lightbulbs in them. They did have a radio and Len was great to let us borrow some CD's. As far a the amnenities, the soap they used to do the dishes was laundry soap, there was no phone, I was able to text with my AT&T, my friends with Verizion could not get any bars to text on their phones. The BUGS were bad. bitting ants in the living room and master bedroom and roaches were seen in the kitchen and bathroom and lots of fruit flies in the kitchen. I would not recomend it to any of my friends unless they really wanted to rough it.

A delightful stay

  • 5 of 5

Our family of four spent a week at La Casa Duna. It is perched atop cliffs overlooking the sea. We were lulled to sleep at night by the crashing waves and spent hours on the spacious and comfortable veranda watching the sea, or reading, sunbathing or sharing one of the delicious home cooked meals prepared by Miss Bev, who is a terrific cook. There is a small pool next to the veranda for a cool dip, or a sandy beach is a short walk away. The property caretaker is full of stories and wonderful ideas for outings, if you so desire. We spent the week without a car, but had no trouble finding a driver when we wanted to explore further afield. This was such a delightful, carefree, quiet and relaxing vacation, we can't wait to go back. All in all, an exceptional experience.
