There is also a Queen Aero-Bed for added convenience. Other entertainment includes a shaded park nearby, a short walk to the nighttime hotspot The Riviera, and easy access to the Downtown Strip, featuring bars, restaurants, casinos, shopping, & spas.
Our perfect vacation week began the moment we contacted the owners to inquire. Excellent, prompt customer service and a welcoming demeanor formed our first impressions of this stellar mid-century retreat.
Imagine our delight when we entered the property to find that the decor, accommodations, and cleanliness were all maintained with the same integrity and attention to detail we had encountered during the booking process. The delightful mid-century decor is clean, chic, and comfortable. Not only is the home perfectly gorgeous and homey; it is also extremely well-stocked with cookware, linens, games, and everything one could possibly need for a perfect getaway.
As we spent the days dreaming poolside, relaxing in the high quality lounge chairs, we enjoyed the idyllic setting of swaying palms, blossoming bougainvilla, and charming citrus trees. And if all of this weren't enough to relax us, floating on rafts (provided by the house) in the heated saltwater pool would do the trick.
The location of this property couldn't be better. Only a few minutes from downtown (shopping, restaurants, bars), the Palm Springs Aerial Tram, and local casinos; it's also not far to such amazing natural treasures as Joshua Tree and Indian Canyons. A sprawling outlet mall is only a short drive on the freeway. And the nearby (actually walking distance) Riviera Hotel & Spa provides excellent nightlife and spa facilities.
We will never, ever forget our very magical week at Martini Weekend and cannot wait to return. The property was everything we hoped it would be, and so much more.

This is a wonderful house. I started the week+ stay in Palm Spring with my husband and adult son at the house, then traded them out (they had to get back to their jobs) for a few girl friends who flew in to Palm Springs for warmer weather and golf. Everyone agreed that the house is wonderful. The location is great and the backyard and pool is large, private and has beautiful views of the mountains. House is clean and bright too. It's mid-century, so bathroom sizes are what you would expect. The living area is very open and spacious and the covered porch area off the back of the house was a favorite hangout. Outdoor furniture is even more pleasant than on the web site pictures. I love to cook and the kitchen was furnished very well, so much appreciated! When I had a question, I just called one of the owners and got an immediate response. This house is definitely on our list of "let's come back to this one".
We enjoyed our stay at Martini Weekend especially the pool. It was great! We were happy that we chose to heat the pool. We were able to enjoy it early in the morning and into the evening. It was about an hour drive to Joshua Tree National Park and well worth the day trip. Our first evening, we went to Tropicale for happy hour. Fun place. Albertsons grocery store is close by the property.
Although the weather was a little chilly and rainy, our stay at "martini weekend" was wonderful. The pool heat was especially welcome in the cooler temperatures. The mid-century design of the house added to the fun, and the amenities (dishes, beds, towels, etc) made for a worry-free and relaxing stay. I would vacation here again.
We enjoyed our stay at Martini Weekend House. It was very clean, well equipped, with lots of extras. The pool was really nice - a beautiful setting and very private. With our car everything in Palm Springs seemed only 5 minutes away. We will definitely consider it again for golf/party trip or just a relaxing holiday.
I must say we were pretty impressed with the house and location. Pool was fabulous as were the fresh grapefruit and oranges growing in the backyard.
Check in was a breeze with Greg and we encountered no problems. We are looking forward to coming back!
