This small village area is called Agia Paraskevi. It has a few houses, two small chapels, a children's play area and a small cafe. All houses are of stone in the traditional style . It is very quiet, remote and very peaceful. Lovely views over the sea and the two islands Paximadis and Gaftos just off the coast. Castello Penita is situated 400 meters down from the village. We have a breathtaking view of the sea as well as the nearby islands, The village is visited in April to October with tourists, walkers or just adventurous types passing through. The unspoilt beaches are around 20-30 minutes walk down through the olive groves. Places to visit nearby are the attractions of historic Prevali with its Monastery and the wonderful beach and gorge of Palm Beach. The extensive beaches of Triopetra with its friendly tavernas, the lovely town of Agia Gallini with its picturesque harbour, bustling streets and good restaurants - Shop at the historic old town of Spilli with its good local shops, tavernas a mze of old streets and of course its lovely fountains.
