About Rudy and Lisa Rudacil
Rudy and I live in Silver Spring, MD, which is less than a two hour drive from Colonial Beach. I have been going to CB since 1986, to visit our friend whose grandparents built a cottage at the Beach before the Gov Harry Nice Bridge was built. There used to be a ferry boat carrying thousands of visitors from DC and Maryland that floated down the Potomac River to the beach. We fell in love with the quiet neighborhood, beautiful sunsets and the restaurants! We decided to buy our cottage as a home away from home.
Rudy and Lisa Rudacil purchased this cottage in 2002
Why Rudy and Lisa Rudacil chose Colonial Beach
Our cottage is two houses away from a wonderful view of Monroe Bay, which the locals call the Creek. It's so beautiful in the summer time to walk, ride your bike or take a golf cart ride around this part of Colonial Beach.
What makes this cottage unique
Our cottage is one of the originial cottages and us really cozy. Dog owners love bringing their companions with them on their trips, which is great, because we have a huge back yard.
Guestbook comments from the owner
If you are ever looking for a vacation without giving up the convenience of being at home, you should consider the Four-Season cottage. Here you will find the owners have paid attention to every detail to make your stay comfortable. I don't wish to write a long essay, but you will find a well stocked kitchen that even has magnets on the refrigerator door, a grill in the large backyard with a nice deck, a lovely screened room to eat in, the fastest wireless internet connection you can imagine, and a very lovely serene area to just kick back and relax. You may even feel a little like a guest instead of a customer.
