Inger Jirby's Guest Houses are located in downtown Taos, walking distance to Taos Plaza and the Blumenschein and Harwood Museums, part of a 200-year-old adobe compound on Historic Ledoux Street. The Guest Houses offer accessibility to the shops, restaurants, and galleries in the heart of Taos, while still being quiet and homey.

Comfortable and large, both Guest Houses have air conditioning, are beautifully furnished and sleep 4 people. Equipped with all the comforts of home: full kitchen, washer/dryer, WiFi, Roku.

The main bedroom is lofted and accessed via a narrow spiral staircase. There is also a trundle bed on the main floor which sleeps 2. The bathroom is on the main floor.

Magical Taos Long Weekend

55th Wedding Anniversary

Inger’s Casita was the perfect location to celebrate our 55th wedding anniversary. The Casita was beautiful, comfortable and felt like home. The location was great and within walking distance to the Taos plaza, restaurants and a fine wine bar. Inger took great care of us and provided special treats to celebrate our anniversary. If you go to Taos this is the place to stay!

Perfect Taos casita

We were so pleased with our choice of this property--it felt so "authentic", spacious, very well equipped and stocked, great location--check in was seamless--property manager called to check in with us before we arrived! Inger Jirby's life has been as rich, dramatic and exotic as her art. She was born in the far north of Sweden, above the Artic Circle in Lapland, a place of blazing autumnal colors and great cultural traditions. "I prefer to work outdoors on location. I love to interact with nature and Taos is a perfect place to do what I love the most," she says. "Taos, New Mexico has been a cultural center over a hundred years. New Mexico is the perfect place for a landscape painter and I am first and foremost a landscape painter."

Why they chose this property

The location is absolutely charming, on the quiet, quaint and conveniently-located Historic Ledoux Street. People are always telling me that they love to stay here, and wish that they could stay longer! It's a wonderful arrangement; guests of our casitas can also check out my gallery, and collectors of my paintings can also be put up in comfort while they are in town.
