The views, privacy, comfort, and romantic ambiance of this intimate, elegant villa will delight you. Clinging to the hillside above Cruz Bay, Perelandra's breathtaking views sweep from the deserted cays nestled in the Windward Passage to the sailboats skimming through Pillsbury Sound to the spectacular sunsets resting upon St. Thomas. Later in the evening, St. Thomas' twinkling lights provide a romantic backdrop to your evening.

The villa's perfect location offers proximity to town -- with its ferries, restaurants, and shops -- and to the world-famous National Park beaches of the North Shore while also providing complete privacy among lush landscaping.

Perelandra offers two luxuriously appointed bedrooms -- each with its own air-conditioning, and two large bathrooms -- each with a large walk-in shower. There is a queen sized sofa bed in the living rom. This meticulously-crafted home includes cove molding, mood lighting, Saltilo tiles, exotic woods, and ceiling fans throughout

Glass tiles set in the vaulted ceilings bathe the living areas in light. Bedroom and great room doors open out onto two levels of wrap-around decks and verandas which, in turn, lead to the beautiful, refreshing swimming pool -- perfectly sized to be large enough to cool off and exercise in (10 x 18) but small enough to warm up quickly in the sun. While the pool area provides beautiful views of the ocean and St. Thomas, others can not view you as it is surrounded by garden walls and verdant foliage and flowers.

Perelandra is very-well provisioned. Its kitchen provides everything you'll need to fix snacks for the beach, to make your own Caribbean drinks to sip poolside or while watching the sunset, or to prepare that romantic dinner for just the two of you. Special kitchen features include a large side-by-side refrigerator with ice-maker, range with built-in griddle, chef-quality pots and pans, and designer dinnerware.

Additional amenities also include a new washer and dryer, 2 tv's, many games, CDs, DVDs, videos, phones upstairs and down with answering machine, beach chairs and towels, picnic coolers, beach bags. Relaxing accomodations with Amazing views

This was our first time to St. John and already we are already talking about coming back. We started and ended each day on the patio with views that are truly amazing.

Cimmaron, the management company, was very pleasant and courteous to deal with. They were always available to answer the many questions we had while preparing for our trip and then they even met us at the car ferry and escorted us to Perelandra.

The snorkeling and beaches on St John are the best. We saw many sea turtles, sting rays, variety of beautiful fish and coral, and even a shark. St John is a piece of paradise and certainly hope that every person visiting this island treats it with the respect it deserves so that now and in the future, everyone can see and enjoy it as we did this week.

Perelandra is very well kept and extremely clean. It truly felt like home away from home, except with a view we will never forget.

I'll have my coffee with a view

Our family spent Christmas week in Perelandra and every morning we enjoyed a glorious view from the deck with our coffee. We loved exploring St John using the villa as our home base. The house was perfect for our family of four - very well equipped and a perfect haven after the end of a day at the beach, snorkling or hiking. Cimmaron staff were very welcoming and helpful though we had no need to contact them during our stay as they had provided us with an app with information on the island.

Since we returned home, not a week has gone by that one of our adult daughters says that it was the best family vacation we have ever had together. We all cannot wait to return to St. John and to Perelandra.

Beautiful views, Peaceful location in Paradise

This is our 3rd time to St. John. We stayed in Coral Bay last time, but wanted to be a little closer to more restaurant selection and the North Beaches, so we selected Perelandra. It is a lovely home, very close to Cruz Bay, but away from the noise and people. Views are beautiful. Cimmaron, which is the management company is very attentive to guests also. We would definitely return to Perelandra. Kitchen is well-equipped and very clean. We never left the house a couple of days because we had everything we needed, including a cool plunge pool and great lounge chairs.

St John is a hilly island and you do need a jeep but every turn brings another gorgeous view to make up for it. Our new driveway does makes getting in and out of the villa easy. Just another way that we are trying to make our villa perfect for our guests.

Perfect!

My partner and I spent a week in early December, 2014 at Perelandra. It was wonderful! Everything was exactly as described in the listing. No surprises. The view from the deck is superb. We enjoy having our morning coffee on the deck and watching the iguanas climbing in the nearby trees. Gentle breeze, warm sunshine, lush landscape...the way to begin every day. The house was well equipped and very clean. The on site management employees were friendly and very helpful. We had stayed in Coral Bay once before which was also wonderful, but really enjoyed being in Cruz Bay so we could try out all the wonderful restaurants and have the convenience of a market close by. We particularly enjoyed eating at the Fishtrap. The food was great and the staff were all friendly and helpful. we would highly recommend Perelandra for your stay in St. John.

That's why we chose the CruzBay side of the island instead of Coral Bay. And of course coffee or cocktails on the deck, watching the sailboats or thr sunset makes Perelandra a special place to be. Perfection!!

We just recently returned from a trip to St. John and Perelandra and it was amazing! We went with another couple and because the bedrooms are on separate floors it allowed for a lot of privacy! The location was great, the views were spectacular and anything you could possibly need was in the home!! Not only did St Joh exceed our expectation, but so did Perelandra! We cannot wait to visit both again!!

Owner's Response: It is just for these reasons, and more that we do get repeat guests at Perelandra. The view and the location were the reasons we chose Perelandra and we do everything we can to make it comfortable and special for our guests. The twobedrooms with en suite baths on seperate floors are great for two couples with a king and queen in each. And when the downstairs bedroom is made up as twins it is great for a family with children. Luckily there is a interior staircase that makes it easy for children to get upstairs to the living areas and their parents. We're glad you enjoyed Perelandra.
