About this property

The bungalow is located in a quiet residential area close to a little forest. It can accommodate up to 7 persons.

The bungalow provides all necessities and conveniences, including 2 bathrooms, two toilets (one located in a bathroom with shower, the other separate next to the main bathroom), an open kitchen with a ceramic glass cooktop, microwave, mini-oven, dishwasher and refrigerator.

Wifi internet access and cable TV with Dutch, English and German channels are available.
There are four bedrooms, three with double beds, one with a single bed.

In a separate room you will find a washing machine and a dryer.

As part of the bungalow you will rent a garden shed which contains bicycles for all guests, including several children’s bikes. The use of these bikes is included in the price.

There is off-road parking for two cars.

Needs a bit tender loving care

We had very nice stay , but house could do with a little bit of decluttering like all flooring has been put under beds ? Dressing table full of stuff and unable to use !

Heerlijk weekendje

Een heel fijn ruim huis voor zeven personen en twee hondjes. Mooie omgeving om lekker te wandelen in het natuurgebied vlakbij. Ook het strand is dichtbij. Het huis is oud maar schoon, fijne tuin al zou het nog fijner zijn als er een hek/ afscheiding zou zijn zodat hondjes of kleine kinderen niet de weg op kunnen lopen vanuit de tuin. We hebben genoten van ons verblijf en zouden zeker nog eens terug willen komen.

Chouette séjour dans un très beau bungalow

Petite difficulté de compréhension lors de notre arrivée. Bungalow vraiment bien spacieux mais petits soucis de propreté générale. Attention: ne pas faire couler de l'eau dans l'évier de la cuisine car la décharge fuit et toute l'eau se répand dans le cuisine. Couchage nickel et très confortable. Très bonne installation. A part quelques petits soucis liés à la vétusté, je recommande vivement ce logement pour plusieurs personnes. Autre avantage, les chiens sont admis. Environnement hyper calme et très sécurisant.

Bungalow mit schöner Aufteilung mit erneuerungsbedürftigen Teilen

Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt, die Betten sind prima. Der Ansatz, dass der Vermieter sich nicht so richtig verantwortlich fühlt für die Sauberkeit in den Schränken ist bei einer nicht unerheblichen Reinigungspauschale etwas befremdlich, haben wir so auch noch nicht erlebt. Auch könnte mal in den Wohnzimmerschränken einiges ausgemistet werden. Sehr nett war das Entgegenkommen schon mittags ins Haus zu können.

My wife and I both grew up in Germany about 3 hours drive from Haamstede. My parents bought the bungalow in 1974. As long as I can remember I have spent my holidays there. I took over the bungalow from my parents in 2013.
In 2000 my wife and I left Germany, first for Ireland, eventually settling in Leicester, UK. We therefore cannot simply spend a weekend there anymore, as we used to, and are happy to rent the house to you.
When we got our own kids we returned to Haamsted for the annual summer holidays where we have a family reunion with all grandparents. Our boys love the house and the place, just as I did when I was a child.

Why they chose this property

This house is the most important piece of 'home'. If you have ever lived abroad, you will have noticed that people ask you whether you go 'home' on your holidays. For me, even though I am German and not Dutch, this house is my home.

What makes this property unique

Among the things I love about the bungalow is its location, close to Haamsted and Renesse, so that you can get all the necessities of life easily. At the same time it is about 100m away from the entrance of our little local forest, which is wonderful to play in as a child and good to walk in as an adult. Going through the forest gets you to the huge beach of Haamstede in about half an hour
