Family-friendly apartment in an old but newly renovated building in historic surroundings in the middle of the historic centre. Straight view and access to the beach and the sea. Generous old building, lovingly restored with high ceilings and historic tiling. Fully equipped for up to 8 people, 2 bedrooms, a living room with three sleeping facilities, a large dining-kitchen with sea view, a bathroom with walk-in shower and mosaic tiles. Domestic utility room with a washing machine and beach equipment (beach chair and umbrella).

Direct beach access(20m) via the “Mura di Tramontana” (Old City Wall promenade). All facilities for daily needs are within walking distance. Bars, Ice cream parlors, pastry shops, restaurants from simple to upmarket, markets, daily fish market, supermarket, newspaper stand and much more. You can leave your car safely stand and relax.

The apartment can be air conditioned and heated by heat pump. Ecological hot water supply by solar energy. Satellite TV, washing machine, large refrigerator.

About Flavia Beretta-Frank

We live in Germany, married for over 20 years and we have 2 adult children who are currently studying. I'm Flavia and originally from Northern Italian. I'm translator and operate aswell a camping site with holiday-apartments on the Lake Maggiore .My husband is a german architect. We love Sicily and their hearty and hospitable people. We are in Sicily a couple of weeks every year and we live in the apartment next door. When we are on location, we are happy to give you our personal advice(optional) and tips to make your stay as interesting and enjoyable as possible.

We fell in love with this original area near Trapani, the city and their special people from the very beginning. After several years of renovation, in- and outside, we finally integrated and feel comfortable.

What makes this apartment unique

Due to the special position in the historic centre you experience the country and its people first-hand. You quickly get to know the baker, the barista or the 80-year-old newspaper man with knowledge of the german language next door. Also the most important gastronomes are personal friends with us and serve our guests with warmth. You experience the real city life in a pristine city without mass tourism.

Just like the fish market which is still quite original, fish comes directly from the boat onto the market. Gorgeous seasonal vegetables and fruit is sold directly by farmers and marketeers.

Particularly interesting are the religious festivals around Easter with the numerous processions that can be traced directly from the balcony of the apartment.

City bus on the doorstep, further lines at the bus station, about 15 min walk.

Stunning apartment , fabulous location .

A wonderful, airy , spacious apartment , great central location . Close to everything you could possibly need .
Flavia kindly organised the airport transfer , paid locally , the local tourist information gave us all the info we needed .
The sea breezes kept the temperature down , even when it hit the 40's , it was pleasant .
The apartment is perfectly described and is much larger than it appears in the photos .
Make sure you visit Erice , Favignana and San Vito lo Capo. I would definitely recommend this apartment to families of all ages , the children loved the gelato con brioche ,( ice-cream sandwich) for breakfast .

Ferien in der Stadt

Toll eingerichtete und sehr gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung in der es großen Spaß macht mit der Familie seine Ferien zu verbringen. Egal ob große oder kleine Kinder. Wir haben ganz Westsizilien von hier aus erkundet. Mit dem Auto, der Fähre und dem Fahrrad! Und am Abend das Treiben in der Stadt genossen! Sollte uns die Sehnsucht nach italienischem Leben (einkaufen auf dem Fischmarkt, danach Kaffee trinken und sehr leckeres Eis essen :-), schnorcheln im glasklarem Meer....) wieder packen, kommen wir sehr gerne wieder um unsere Seele baumeln zu lassen!
