Situated in the historic centre of the 'La Macarena' district which is, nowadays, one of the most colorful districts of Seville, and one which has best conserved its traditional air. The apartment is located on a very quite street only a few meters from the street named Feria, one of the main thoroughfares. Since medieval times, every Thursday, this street hosts the “Feria Market” a rich cultural event where the streets are lined with stalls selling a vast range of wares. Daily one can walk the neighborhood where traditional commercial activity occurs and there is a vast selection of local stores and markets to purchase fresh fruit and bread. Every bar and restaurant in the neighborhood offers a wealth of history for viewing while one enjoys tasting traditional Spanish cuisine. One will also find the part of the old city walls built by the Almoravides. This section runs from the Puerta de Córdoba, now lost, to the Arch of La Macarena, the only one of the city gates still standing.

Good location and comfortable

Good "15-minute walk from the hot spots" location. We learned a lot about the city by taking different routes each time. We saw more of the city life than if we'd been in a more touristic area. The street is low traffic except for a few loud motorscooters. The flat has simple IKEA furnishings and the kitchen is sufficient. Nothing fancy but it got the job done as a comfortable place to stay. The rooftop terrance is quite nice for relaxing. The managers were very helpful with orientation to the neighborhood and surrounds. We learned on arrival where the market on Calle Feria was and when it closed and where recommended restaurants were located. There is a small library of travel books.

We loved this place

We enjoyed Seville so much, but this apartment was the dessert portion. We spent a lot of time on the terrace. The space was clean and well decorated. The kitchen was very well designed, as was the bath. There seemed to be a lot of thought that went into each detail and it made a great deal of difference for us.

The beds were comfortable, everything had been thought of for us.

We were greeted by Jean Pierre at the door, and he was happy to make suggestions for where to shop and eat. The area has many restaurant options, some of the best. It is also not a tourist area, so it was more tranquil and the parks had many families.

Not one but two great apartments

We booked Apartments Peral with friends. They stayed in the upstairs studio with a balcony, while we had the one bedroom. Both apartments were incredibly clean, and were just what we wanted. Jean Pierre met us at the place and clearly explained everything--plus gave us a guide to some of the best restaurants we encountered in a month of travel. He was also completely available if we needed to call. The one bedroom has a spacious feel due to the high ceilings and the clean white interior, and the kitchen was extremely well equipped and the laundry easy to use. The studio had a smaller but still useful kitchenette plus a washer. I agree with the other reviews about the positive aspects of this place. It is also very close to a European style market, and a good shopping street. The location means you will encounter more locals than tourists. We bought the 48 hour pass for the red hop on/off bus and then just used the closest stop to our apartment, which was very convenient. Walking to the center of the city was also easy. The building is very close to the Camera Obscura in Seville, which is a real treat--and you can even see the common roof deck of the building. This is definitely a place I would recommend to friends.

We spent 6 comfortable nights at this apartment. We were met at the door and all emails were answered promptly both before we arrived and while we were there. The apartment is spacious and comfortable with all you may need. WiFi, washing machine and AC all worked perfectly and the roof was a great place to dry our laundry. Beds are very comfortable and the shutters make the bedrooms nice and dark and also very quiet. It is in walking distance of all the places a tourist would want to go.I chose this one from online reviews and I highly recommend it.

Quiet location, easy walk to fun areas

Clean, good location for walking everywhere, quiet at night. Comfortable beds. Had to ask for extra towels, but they arrived promptly. Good internet and air conditioning. Note the bathroom connects to the bedroom, so guest sleeping on fold out couch has to creep through bedroom at night to use the bathroom. Sweet shared roof top deck! Enjoyed apartment!

Nice apartment, nice neighborhood

We stayed at Peral56 for four nights. The apartment is clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The whole building is very well taken off. The apartment is located on a quiet residential street within walking distance from major attractions - 5-7 mins to Alameda Hercules, 15-20 mins to Cathedral. A supermarket and a fresh market are 2-3 blocks away. If you arrive to Seville by car there is a public underground parking 10 mins walk away, that has very reasonable multiple day parking rates (we paid just under 50€ for 5 days) and a very easy access to Ronda Urbana Nte and all major highways in case you plan to make day trips outside of Seville.

Jean Pierre was very prompt and helpful. He waited for us at the apartment, showed us around and provided all the info we might need during our stay.

Overall we had a very pleasant experience!
