This apartement has two good size bedrooms, one with its own shower and basin but there is also a separate bathroom with its own basin, shower and toilets. The second toilet on a private pathway. There is a large sitting room with one of the sofas that is a sofabed. Off the sitting room, is a big open kitchen fully equipped. It is well furnished with some antiques. Very unusual for Paris, it has a lovely private access, with a beautiful mural painting (see photos) and that is where the second toilet is located. It is not overlooking the street so there is no noise at night.
This apartement in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Pres is so close to museums, the river Seine, good restaurants and shops. Could you be anywhere else?
It is in a 17th century building.
Free internet, free telephone calls to the US and Europe but charged to Australia and the rest of the world!!
Nearest metros are: Sèvres-Babylone or Saint-Germain des prés.
The apartement is on the first floor, continental standard, 2nd by US. There is no elevator.
I used to live in the UK so I'm bilingual which to most guests is a huge help!!

So well located, could you be anywhere else?
For our recent trip with our 11 yr old grand daughter, the Saint Peres apartment certainly hit the right spot. It was spacious, comfortable, smoothly functional and incredibly well located. Your kind guidance to places like Poirlane and Kilo shop and the Rue Princesse eating area made us feel lke guests rather than tenants, so thank you especially for that. I will be telling a young couple making their first trip to Paris this year about your place, for it would fit them if they can carry it. We came home , too soon, relaxed and very happy. This apartment was a comfortable, charming place with many famous Paris landmarks within walking distance. It was pleasant, clean and had everything we needed to make our stay fabulous. For months before our visit, we got to know the owner, a very special lady who was a huge help in planning our stay in Paris. She was at the apartment to greet us upon arrival, showed us how to work everything, and answered lots of questions. She had the place stocked with information about local sights, restaurants, groceries, etc. She was just a total delight, and was accessible via phone throughout our stay for anything we needed. We loved staying here, and recommend it highly as a place that makes you feel like you are living as the locals do!
The location of this apartment in the 6eme arrondissement is unbeatable. It is 1/2 block from St. Germain des Pres and very near St. Suplice. I was traveling with three friends and we were able to walk everywhere or easily take the Metro. It is conveniently located to the Rodin Museum, the Picasso Museum and l'Orangerie, among others. The listing description was accurate and Ferida was very helpful with suggestions of nearby boulangeries, etc. She has made a book for the apartment with all the information so you don't have to remember everything she tells you! She speaks English very well so that is a bonus for English speaking travelers. The property was clean, the kitchen is modern and the beds were very comfortable. The couches in the living room were great for hanging out in the evening and drinking wine. I would stay here again, and I would recommend it to a friend/relative.
Two couples stayed in this cute flat in the heart of the Left Bank, and it was exactly as advertised. The owner Ferida met us to show the features of the flat, she was wonderfully helpful. The neighborhood was great and it was easy to get around from this location. Thank you, we enjoyed our stay and will recommend it to friends.
Apologies to Ferida for the late posting! My family and I chose this wonderful apartment over Christmas in 2013-2014. I am an airline employee and we travel standby, so we needed to arrive a day earlier than originally booked. I called Ferida and she was very accommodating with booking the extra day.
We took the train in from CDG airport with no issues early on the Sunday. Ferida was out of town for the week with her own Christmas plans, but she had arranged for the housekeeper to give us a brief orientation.
The apartment was very neat, functional and QUIET! Short climb up stairs to the apartment from the street level, so if you have a family member that has trouble climbing, it may be a consideration.. One small water closet on the exterior of the apartment that our kids (one early 20's, one late teen) actually became more comfortable with than the interior restroom. Kitchen was well stocked and we actually had a very nice Christmas meal that we prepared (not too many restaurant's open) in house.
All beds were very comfortable and we couldn't hear a peep of noise from the street late at night.
The location is incredibly good. Short walks to the Louvre and Notre Dame. Longer walks to Eiffel Tower and other sites, but beautiful as most walks are on the river.
All in all, we had a great vacation which I attribute in large part to our choice of apartment.
Situated in a great location, the apartment was quiet and comfortable. Very nice amenities in the remodeled kitchen. Lots of closet space. Very comfortable for four adults, would love to return someday.
We totally recommend this property and hope to return again soon! Ferida was very charming, helpful and accommodating. Walk to the Musee D'Orsay, St. Sulpice, the Luxembourg Gardens, Bon Marche, the Seine, Notre Dame and St. Chapelle in minutes. Walk around the corner and find great cafes, restaurants and fabulous boutiques. Walk a bit further to enjoy the historical neighborhood Le Marais (like Greenwich Village) Take the Hop On Hop Off Bus to further destinations like Montmartre and the Eiffel Tower. Paris is a beautiful city and this apartment is in the perfect location. Thank you Ferida! Adieu - from 4 young ladies age 18 to 84
Being in famous Saint-Germain-des-prés, you are just a walking distance from the famous cafés Deux Magots and Flore, good restaurants, shops, museums, jardin du Luxembourg, the river Seine etc... Could you be anywhere else??
