HISTORIC FAMILY HOME, OPEN FIREPLACE, LARGE GARDEN, 3 MINUTES TO THE SEA

Photos and Description of this 3 bedroom holiday villa in Porthleven - New: Trelawn with sea view

3 bedrooms for 5 people, 2 open fireplaces, child-safe garden, parking space

Newly renovated! The nice villa on the sea belonged to an industrial family in the 19th century. It is unusually spacious for a house in this region. The private parking space is on the property, from here you can enter a small, child-safe inner courtyard. From the entrance veranda, you can get into the dining room, historically equipped, with a working art-deco fireplace. From here you can go into the living room with a view of the garden. Here you have a second open fireplace, TV, HiFi with iphone dock and cosy place to sit for 5 people.

From the entrance you can also get to the spacious kitchen, equipped with all comforts (fridge and freezer, electronic stove, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave) From the kitchen, you can get into the large, turquoise tiled bathroom (bathtub, shower, toilet). Through the corridor in which the historic tiles were restored, you can get into the unusually large garden with a lawn and a large terrace area.

The garden is enclosed from all sides, here your children can play without disruptions. The sitting area is located on a natural stone wall. Above the garden is a century-old cedar, which offers you shade depending on the location of the sun. Otherwise, the garden is a 'sun catcher'. Since it faces the south, you will have sun from early morning to late afternoon.

In the house, a historic staircase leads to the first floor from where you will have a view of the harbour and the sea.

You have the choice between 3 bedrooms. The large double bedroom has a king size bed and a balcony with a sea view.

The 2nd bedroom has a zip and link bed, optionally as single beds or as a super king size. The idyllic 3rd bedroom has a single bed.

The house has electric central heating. A short click on the thermostats and it will be comfortably warm.

Porthleven is the most southern fishing harbour in Great Britain. A sophisticated city with its picturesque harbour. A lot of boats lay anchor here. The mole and the old church tower are the emblems of the city.

On both sides of the city, there are kilometre long beaches, which invite you to go on long walks. The historic 'Coastal Path' around Cornwall also leads through here. From Porthleven, you can reach all important attractions of the south west coast of Cornwall within a half hour. Whether you want to go to Lands End, to the picturesque St. Michael's Mount, to St. Ives, Penzance or to the Lizard Peninsula, everything is nearby. Porthleven itself has a good infrastructure: Supermarket, fish store with fresh fish, bakeries, restaurants, bars, tea stores - everything is on site.
