Animals and birds are all around in this remote setting that is only 5 minutes from Lutsen Mountain and centrally located to the areas best hiking trails, waterfalls, state parks and fishing lakes. Cozy luxury is what this home is all about!

This 3 bedroom 3 full bath home is furnished with 'upper end' rustic elegance featuring cherry hardwood floors, granite countertops, Jenn-Aire appliances and expansive vaulted ceilings finished with warm cedar paneling and massive beams. Lower level contains a 42' plasma screen with surround sound system for watching your favorite movies.

Off of the main level you'll find a warm and cozy 4 season porch with radiant floor heat, huge comfy couch and antique rocking chairs. We have been building custom post and beam homes for over 25 years on the North Shore of Lake Superior and decided to try the Vacation Rental Home market out which has been a very rewarding experience for us.

6 grown men had a weekend to remember. The weather was foggy but we still golfed and had a fabulous fire. In the CD player when we arrived was "rent" and became the theme song for the weekend. None of us will admit we like the songs outside of this cabin. The Canadian won the poker game, the crafty older silver fox brother was thecwrestling champ and the man who owned the weekend kept an eye on the milk. Well all go home happy with dreams of returning some day.

I can't tell you in words what a wonderful time we had. Thanks for opening up your beautiful home to 5 friends who truly needed to get away. The scenery here provided the perfect backdrop for our girls weekend. We saw deer but not one moose. We got a chance to hit the mountain for a little skiing and we even hit a snow bank and had to push out suv out! All in all a great trip! Well be taking these fond memories back to Texas and Louisiana.

We spent a wonderful week with our two adult children and their boyfirends at the home. Located in the woods it is secluded from other homes and oe can get a real sense of the north country. Nonetheless, there are great amenities within close driving distance: two great meals at Lutsen. The home is wll appointed and comfortable with plenty of space to go off by yourself,and it comes wiht it own train whistle. What more could you want!
