This is a convenient location - just head west 9 blocks to beach. Or go about 4 blocks north & 8 blocks west to shop or stroll the famous Third Street Promenade, continue west another 3 blocks to Pacific Park amusements on the Pier and beach. Or walk to Main St for the Farmers Market on Sunday mornings. About 1.5 miles north, drive up to chic Montana Ave with it's trendy Boutiques. Going south 1.5 miles takes you to the heart of funky Venice Beach boardwalk with it's street performers, vendors & famous Muscle Beach. So much to see & do here in Santa Monica!!

    Cancellation Policy:
    Full refund less any credit card/paypal fees if cancelled within 30 days or more prior to arrival. That may give me time to rebook your dates. Since this is not a hotel & I don't have other rooms to take the place of a vacancy, it's a hardship for me if someone cancels at the last minute. Therefore, if it's less than 30 days, it will depend on if I can find a replacement guest for those nights.

We spent an enjoyable week in Santa Monica and very much enjoyed the location of the property which was close to the freeway and our favorite spots like Starbucks and Whole Foods. The property was clean and the kitchen was well equipped with modern appliances. The parking outside the door was greatly appreciated especially after a long day in the theme parks and/or shopping. Santa Monica has much to offer in terms of restaurants, beach life and other amenities. Thank you.

Te house was nice but did have a horrible smell like old garbage , also the bathroom had many ants. Location is so so it is a very long walk to 3rd st and the beach.
Owner's Response: I'm so sorry to hear there was a bad smell, I had no idea and wish I'd known about this while you were there to see if I could have done something. I will look into this and see if I can discover the cause, certainly no one has mentioned this to me before. As for ants, we did hire an exterminator about 2 weeks ago to begin a monthly service. If this happened after the service began, they come out to take care of it as part of the service agreement. Since I didn't hear about this until the review, I'm not sure if it happened after I hired them or not - but hopefully future guests will not have this issue.

Excellent location. The R3 bus drops you at Pico and Lincoln, a block away. A 15 minute walk to the beach or downtown SM. If you drive a car make sure you attach the parking card to the rear view mirror- the wardens are very vigilant and start early and finish late.The house is very compact, tidy, and well equipped. The immediate area is a bit sparse when it come to good restaurants or supermarkets but there are some handy small stores and coffee shops.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, People with Disabilities

This is a fabulous place to stay in Santa Monica! it is in a nice quiet street, but is close enough to walk to the shops and beach. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen is great to use. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in the area and next time I am back in Santa Monica I will defintiely return. Thanks to the owner for making the transaction so easy and pleasant - thanks Kathryn :-)

Charming bungelow priced right!

My friends and I stayed at this lovely casita for 4 days while my good friend underwent surgery at UCLA Medical Center. The house is tastefully appointed with everything that we needed to dine in (re. great kitchen) and the patio was perfect for enjoying coffee in the morning. Bedding and furniture are very comfy and there were plenty of pillows!!! I would definately stay there again!
