Mirador del Sor is a gated subdivision with monitored access. Mirador del Sol is strategically located on road #102 within few miles from the best Cabo Rojo seafood restaurants in the Joyuda area. Being at only few miles away from Mayaguez, Hormigueros, San German, this subdivision offers convenient access to road #2 and #100,major traffic arteries to places like Mayaguez shopping Mall, Combate and Boqueron beaches.
The Guest may cancel their booking at any time up to or during the rental period. In the event that the Guest exercises their right to cancel, the Owner will levy the following cancellation penalty percentage rates of the Total Rental Fee:
Up to 60 days prior to the arrival date 20% Between 59 - 31 days prior to the arrival date 50%
Less than 30 days prior to the arrival date 100%
The Owner regrets that it is unable to waive any of the cancellation charges above, whatever the circumstances. The Owner recommends that all guests take out adequate cancellation or vacation insurance either through their insurance broker or travel agent.
Pets are not permitted in the Property. The Owner of the Property cannot be held liable for any loss or injury to a pet while staying at the Property, or for any action taken by the pet or pet owner against third parties. In the event that the Guest brings a pet to the Property, the Owner will levy a charge of $100 per bedroom per week to the credit card of the Guest, to pay for additional sanitation and cleaning on the departure of the Guest and pet. Failure to pay the charge described above, or refusal, will result in the Guests eviction from the Property, and loss of all rental money paid.
Nearby you may visit Boquerón, Combate, Buyé, Joyuda, and Playa Sucia beaches and its Cabo Rojo lighthouse 'El Faro' (one of the most spectacular views in the Caribbean) you will also be able to visit the Salt Flats and the Wildlife Refuge while at the lighthouse; in the municipality of Lajas (25 minutes) during day kayak around the mangrove forest (Mata La Gata) and at night visit the Bioluminiscence Bay in la Parguera (Moonless Night). Other things to do: Scuba, Snorkeling, Sailing, Fishing, Kayaking, Swimming; At the city of Mayagüez (15 minutes) visit the Cathedral recently restored, visit the Zoo with its new Butterfly House, visit the Mayaguez Resort & Casino and you may do shopping in the Mayaguez Mall. At the town of San Germán (20 minutes) visit one of the oldest churches in the Americas, Porta Coeli; To the north you may visit Arecibo’s (1hr) Radar Observatory and The Caverns of Camuy; to the south you can be in Ponce (1hr) where you can enjoy the historic downtown and museum
