My husband and I are recently retired. I was a stay at home mother and completed my education as an adult. I was fortunate to then practice as a school psychologist/behavior analyst/autism consultant in the Public School System for 15 years. My husband, Rick, practiced as an engineer/MBA in the railroad industry for 39 years. We love visiting Florida and taking care of our two properties there, and keep them within the highest standards for the vacationers that frequent them. Our guests are very important to us! We spend much of our time with our grandchildren--they are the highlight of our lives! We are just beginning to travel more; basically, we are just trying to take time to realize our priorities and 'smell the roses.'

We love having our coffee in the morning on the lanai and a glass of wine on the lanai in the evening. It is a beautiful community, and we love to take in all of the scenery, the landscaping, and the foliage as we take at least one daily walk. We warm the jetted spa, as we take an evening swim in the pool, and end the day by relaxing in the whirlpool!
The southwest facing pool gives us a sunny pool all day until sunset. The park-like setting provides us a beautiful view of the hot air balloons in the morning and the blue herons strolling through the grassy area outside the lanai.
Our favorite Publix to shop is the new one, as it has about everything. You simply make a right out of Windsor Hills on Old Lake Wilson Rd. and go straight until you come to the redlight, cross the highway, and it is on the right. It is a very easy drive.
I love cooking in the gourmet kitchen, as I look out to the pool/spa/lanai and beautiful park setting. We almost always eat out on the lanai! The washer and dryer is also convenient; we love taking home clean clothes, and we can pack a lot lighter.
There are many restaurants within a couple of miles, every restaurant chain you can think of you can access in 5 or 10 minutes. We like a small Italian restaurant, Bruno's, on 192. It is family owned and the staff there are very friendly.
Disney property is within 2-3 miles and you can drive to any of the Disney parks in 5 to 15 minutes.
The security in this resort is second to none with the 24 hour manned gates and camera systems throughout the property. Our home also has its own security system and a safe.
Windsor Hills is a great family resort with its Castle Playground and 0 entry pool, pool slide, and dancing fountains. There is also a pool side store and bar that serves light food, wine, and beer!
