Ideal for the family

We stayed in this condo in a gated community in April 2008 and had a great time it was located just out of the busy parts of cable beach but right on the main road to everything. Restaurants, grocery and convenience stores are within walking distance. The picture shown from the deck is exactly what it is like and the views are spectacular at sunset. The sleeping arrangements were ideal as a large family with everyone having their own space for the 10 days we were there. Two pools a beach and good snorkeling on the other side of the point make entertaining teens easy.

A car would be an asset in this location if you intend to do a lot of sight seeing but the buses and taxis are reliable.

Wonderful stay

Booking and payment was easy. Everything was organized as described. The property was clean and maintained. It is not a new property but it is very comfortable and I believe a family would have what they need to have a great vacation. Our family of four enjoyed snorkeling outside the friont of the property. We were thrilled with the sound of the waves crashing outside while we slept. The view from two bedrooms and the main room was beautiful! We liked our dinner at Goldy's at the Fish Fry. We took the Jitney to get around and it was right outside the gate of the property. We did not like our dinner at Nesbits. It was just not my style. Our 19 year old daughters's preferred our time at this property over our stay in Paradise Island! We made some nice memories. The owner seems quite thoughtful.

Sixteen Days in Paradise!!!!

Two couples ages 47-62 just arrived home to our frigid reality in Ontario, Canada feeling blessed and grateful for this trip. What an amazing spot! The ocean is less than a stones throw outside your back door. We spent every morning out having our coffee and every evening watching the amazing sunsets with our cocktails :)

The location is close to grocery and banking. We did take a taxi for big grocery runs but even with the taxi waiting it was never more than $20 so the need to rent a car is not necessary. When we wanted to venture further we rode the jitneys which I highly recommend. It $1.25 to run the #10 line and the locals are so friendly and welcoming. Hold on though these drivers are competing for fares and if they are falling behind they do what they have to in order to catch up! We made friends with one jitney driver and hired him one sunday to take us on a private tour of "hidden gems" and places most tourists would not venture or see without the aid of a local.

Walking distance was the Poop Deck a great place to party on thursday nights karaoke. We found a it little pricey for the quality of the food but it was okay. Just a little further walk and we ate at Sandyports Spritz which we all absolutely loved and was relatively the same prices as the poop deck but much better food.

The condo is in a safe well secured gated community. There is plenty of room. We had a spare room and if needed there was a pull out sofa in the 3rd floor bedroom. Sixteen days in paradise!!!

Enchanting Ocean front villa

We absolutely loved our stay here. everything was as really lovely! The unit was very clean and spacious even with our family of 6 we all felt at home. The views were amazing, even better than the photos. The beds were very comfy and furnished with a lovely tropical theme. Very conveniently situated and easy to get to town on the jitney that stops at the front gate regularly. We had some nice dinners at the nearby restaurants within a 2 minute walk. Cocktails on the patio with the ocean lapping just a few feet away was surreal and is still being raved about by the kids! f I could give this place 10 stars I would! Absolutely recommend this island paradise!!!

Pleasantly Surprised!

We didn’t expect it to be this perfect. We were a total of 8 people in our group, 4 of them were between ages 18-21 and it didn’t get crowded at all. When we parked they started checking out the swimming pool and screamed with joy when they realized that the beach was just THERE!!! We didn’t even think it would be THAT close. We walked in the unit and couldn’t believe our eyes! From the patio was the ocean view, What a Sight! That’s where we had breakfast every morning and had a great view of the sunset also. The unit was clean, comfortable, and provided all the amenities as mentioned. The on-site staffs were really friendly and we felt safe. We had a car so we drove to other beaches but spent a lot of time at the beach right there. It was clean and we would swim there until sunset. The two pools were really well kept but who needs that when you have the calm turquoise-green waters and a shore of a delicate white sand beach…walking distance to the unit!

Wonderful house on the ocean

The house is perfectly located with a large terrasse overseeing the ocean. You can enjoy BBQ on the terrasse. The house was clean, nice furniture, large bedrooms, direct access to 2 swimming pools, parking lot, ... Snorkeling in front of the house was not possible but this might be due to the weather condition in March.

I would really recommend this house.

Location

Car: not necessary

Our beautiful townhome is situated just two miles west of the famous Cable Beach on a small private gated peninsula, with the water on 3 sides. The snorkeling reef is right out the front of our patio, the private sandy beach is 100 meters from our back door and the two pools a stones throw away.

We are in a perfect area for just walking around to get to two restaurants on the beach next to us, one is fresh seafood and the other is a seafood and pizza cafe. Within a few minutes walk across the bridge to a marina are more shops, restaurants and a gym.

Public jitneys come past the front gate regularly to the two supermarkets, more restaurants, shops, casino and hotels two miles down the road or anywhere else on the island up to 6pm. Nassau town centre and Paradise Island are about 15 mins away.
