Hello! We hope you enjoy your stay at our lovely Mandeville home! We purchased this home in 2006 shortly after Hurricane Katrina. We loved the scenic setting of the house - the mature trees in the yeard, picket fence, close proximity to the Tammany Trace! The backyard is a great place to kick back and relax. Listen to the breeze as it flutters the leaves on the trees, enjoy the birds chirping, and the crickets song in the evenings. You will feel like you are in the country, but all the conveniences of the city are nearby. Grocery stores just 5 minutes away, and many fabulous restaurants are close by. Wehope you enjoy our Mandeville Home as much as we do!

Quiet, peaceful subdivision ~ spacious yard with mature trees ~ easy commute to many other communities in Southeast Lousiana
Country feel yet close to all the city conveniences!
We were a group of 5 adults staying in this lovely home along with 2 little doxies. It was clean, well appointed and very convenient for our little day trips. Our furry girls loved the house and the fenced back yard. The adults loved coming home each day to relax from our excursions and just talk and have some quiet time in this very "homey" feeling house! The neighborhood was quiet and the residents were very nice. We will definitely stay in this home again when we are in the area. Great house!!!
Noticed some material deficiencies at the house that should be remedied. Shower curtain in main bathroom allows water through it and collects on the floor at the base of the shower and base boards of the walls.
Significant gaps in doors leading to exterior allow excessive amounts of bugs/insects inside.
If you have small dogs, they will be able to escape from the fenced in yard.
Grill ignitor is failing. Moisture gets into it via rain and humidity regularly.
Back patio is very slick, be careful.
On one occassion, the owner of the home came by unexpectedly to "check how many smoke alarms were in the home."
This is the second time my family has stayed at this house in Mandeville, LA. The house is clean and very well maintained. The pictures show all of the amenities that the house has to offer. It is spacious, and it offers everything you will need for a great stay. The owner made renting the property very easy. We had all of the necessary information well in advance of our trip. I would definitely recommend this house for anyone who is looking for a great place to stay in Mandeville.
We really enjoyed your home during our stay. If was well appointed and everything was laid out great.
Overall, the Mandeville house was very comfortable and convenient for us. It worked well while we were in the area for a family wedding. The living room and deck are both conducive to lounging and visiting with family. The location was handy for our purposes. We did have a few problems, though. First, when my 88 year old father and stepmother arrived, the combination "code" on the front door had not been re-set, so they couldn't get in. Fortunately another family member was able to get hold of the owners and they talked him through the process of getting in and re-setting the code for the rest of our stay. Second, the frame of the king sized bed (which is much too big for the room it is in) broke when I sat on the bed. We had to scrounge around in the yard in the dark to find a couple of stones to prop it up. That temporary fix worked for the remainder of our stay. Last, there was some confusion with the owner about payment for an extra day we had requested months ago. He insisted on dealing with it immediately, even though I was in the midst of a family event, and I felt it certainly could have waited until later. Other than those issues, our stay was very pleasant and we did really enjoy the comfort of the house.
