Gather with friends or family at our charming, 3-bedroom, lakefront home on Locke Lake. Cathedral ceilings, pine-clad walls and a wood-burning, brick fireplace give this open-concept, saltbox-style home a roomy but cozy, log cabin feel for that hard-earned family vacation or romantic retreat. Don't want to miss the big game? Light the fireplace, cuddle up on the luxurious leather sectional sofa, and enjoy your favorite sporting event or movie on the wall-mounted 46” flat panel TV. SW exposure provides plenty of sunshine for our private sandy beach, oversized deck and living/dining area. Bring your boat along for some water skiing, tubing or fishing, and moor it to our private dock for the duration of your stay. Shoot some hoops, or make s'mores while relaxing around our lakeside firepit!! Winter sports your thing? We have miles of snowmobile or x-country skiing trails nearby, or you can venture to one of the local mountain resorts for some downhill skiing/sledding.

Locke Lake Colony: Our private lake community boasts several on-site amenities, available to both owners and guests alike. Included are two(2) outdoor community swimming pools w/ on-duty lifeguards(summer months only), five(5) public beaches w' playground equipment for kids, boat launch facilities, tennis courts and a 6-hole golf course.

Understated

This property was not as advertised. It was better! The owners seem too modest to boast but the facilities in this rental are excellent. From the large pool table to the thoughtful courtesy cosmetics baskets, it seems that everything has been thought of and provided. The property itself is spacious and well proportioned as well as nicely situated in the middle of the lake. The lake was not busy, indeed it was hard to spot anyone else at all sometimes even on the communal beaches so it made for a great location to swim and kayak. The owner has gone to great lengths to provide every amenity and the firepit is great to unwind at the end of the day. The WiFi and TV are very good and the kitchen is well stocked with utensils. The washer and dryer are fast and quiet and the air-conditioning worked well when needed. Loved the inflatables and fishing gear as well, but it was the floating pontoon which the kids loved best.

Perfect After Christmas Getaway!

We LOVED this house! We'd hoped for skating/skiing but weather did not cooperate. We enjoyed many cozy fires, movies, playing pool & games and taking polar plunges in the 36 degree lake! Only drawbacks were.. beds hard (husband had to sleep on couch) and not much nearby (i.e. coffee shops either not open or closed early a few days a week). Will recommend to other families.

For the most part everything was ok except for the upstairs bathroom tub had a water drip and the toilet tank constantly made noise. That made it difficult for a good nights rest.

Love Lake and Loons!

This is a fabulous lake house with kayaks, canoe, own sandy beach and dock to enjoy the picturesque New Hampshire Lake setting. We were thrilled to hear and see the Loon couple on the lake. They greeted us most mornings and provided beautiful pictures for our memory album! Sunsets were amazing to add the perfect New England touch. The home is lovely and you can tell this is a well loved family gathering place. Kevin, our host, was available as needed and made our stay welcoming. Paper
