About Ross Peterson

I grew up here and love all that Western Montana has to offer. I feel very lucky to be able to live and work in my hometown surrounded by my family and friends. In late 2007, I was fortunate enough to be able to purchase this unit in the Wilma Building and spent the next 6 months designing and renovating it. Every square inch of this space is updated and I love sharing it with people from all over the world. I invite you to come see what Missoula looks like from the top-floor of the 'The Wilma'....I think you'll find it as stunning as I do.

Why Ross Peterson chose Missoula

Missoula, Montana is my hometown and feel very connected to this community. My family has lived in Western Montana for 4 generations and every single one of us has a memory from this building. I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to be involved in the restoration of one of our states oldest and most famous landmarks. Plus, I'm very excited about the opportunities this rental has created for meeting new people and sharing this place I love so much.

What makes this condo unique

Most everyone who stays here in the Wilma Condo comments on just how convenient and comfortable it is. A great amount of time and energy was spent designing this studio space to be very efficient and offer all of the amenities people are used to having at home. Many visitors park their cars (in the private lot) upon arrival and, because of the Wilma's central location, are then able to walk or bike around town for the majority of their stay. For the warmer months (May - September) there are several farmer's markets located near this location, including one that is just an elevator ride away. People love to grab a coffee and walk to the markets or catch a dinner/movie....all without ever leaving the vicinity of the building!

Our stay at the Wilma Condo was absolutely amazing. The first point to make is the wonderful location and its amazing views. You are literally in the middle of everything. Every person I talked to in Missoula thought it was awesome that I was staying at the Wilma and always reminded me what history is within it.

Ross is amazing and is very accommodating. From the chocolates on my pillow to being very flexible with "check-in" and "check-out" times, Ross made our stay the best it could be. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. You can walk to almost anywhere worth going. It is very comfortable and it is obvious that he has worked hard to make it everything and then some. Thank you!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at this VRBO site! The views of Missoula are awesome from the corner flat. It is within walking distance of many cool bars and shops. The flat was very clean and spaceous for two people. The owner Ross was there to greet us and go over the property : very nice guy! Good stuff!

Great experience from start to finish

We really enjoyed our stay in Missoula at the Wilma. The view was great as were the many amenities. It all starts with an excellent host in Ross, who was there to make sure all of our needs were met (how to enjoy the condo, restaurant recommendations, etc.). The location made it really convenient to get to restaurants, shops, Clark Fork River for exercise, and the University of Montana. Though not a large space, it is really well laid out and comfortable. The only caution I would offer is it can be a bit noisy on weekends in the late evening, given its proximity to bars and restaurants. It wasn't a big problem for us, and was more than compensated by the easy access to many of the great spots Missoula has to offer.

Ross and his team did a fantastic job renovating this historic condo. Modern, minimalistic, yet logical. The location is top notch and once you get to town you will not have to drive. We stayed there and were able to easily walk to campus, bars, restaurants, and running trails. We will be staying here moving forward when we travel to Missoula!

My wife and I know Missoula well. We really wanted to have a place to stay downtown and the hotels were either overpriced or run down. We found this condo on VRBO and booked it without any problem. The place was fantastic... tastefully decorated, well thought out, comfortable, and a great location. The owner was super friendly and went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of. I will stay here again when I come back to Missoula and recommend this place highly.

Location

The Wilma is located just 3 blocks from a multitude of activities in Missoula. MOBASH skatepark, a free, outdoor, lighted, concrete skatepark is just 3 blocks away and is open 7 days a week. This, as well as an indoor aquatic center (complete with waterslides and a 'lazy river'), the fastest hand-built Carousel in the Northwest, a children's play structure/park and freestyle kayaking 'wave' are all just moments from your front door.
