Casa Loma is a four bedroom home located on a point overlooking beautiful Rainy Lake. Looking out the windows you can almost touch Voyageurs National Park. The home is fully furnished with everything you need for a relaxing vacation. Take it easy on spacious decks, enjoy the clear skies and starlit nights in your own hot tub or take an old fashioned Finnish sauna all in the privacy of your own home.
Boat, fish, golf, hike, dine-out, bike and shop all while staying on fabulous Rainy Lake. You have your own private dock to either keep your own boat or a rental boat of your choice. Fishing is superb; Black Bay is two miles to the east where walleyes and world famous Rainy Lake crappies abound. If you're feeling adventurous, venture into Rainy Lake's 225,000 acres with 1600 islands.
Casa Loma is open all year long to enjoy all Rainy Lake has to offer. In the winter months go ice-fishing, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, snowmobiling or cozy up to the fireplace with a good book.
I decided to purchase the Casa Loma property along with my two brothers in 2005. We have been involved in the tourism business on Rainy Lake for ninety plus years - our great grandfather purchased the famous Kettle Falls Hotel on the east end of Rainy Lake in 1918. Our family operated the hotel until 1977. In 1978 my parents moved to Rainy Lake Houseboats which we still operate today. We all posess a deep love for the tourism industry and Rainy Lake!
Casa Loma has the most spectacular views of Rainy Lake and Voyageurs National Park compared to others in the area. Access to the park and Rainy Lake are right out your front door. Dining out is simple by boat or car - three restaurants are within five minutes by land or water.
Great seclusion, privacy, incredible views, private boat dock, outdoor fire pit, two stall garage, hot tub and sauna, superb deck, gas barbeque grill and full kitchen.
