A warm welcome awaits you in the heart of Provence. Relax in a self-contained spacious and modern self-catering apartment that has a large private terrace on the garden level of the British owners’ villa that is set on a hillside on the edge of one of the oldest villages in Provence. The covered terrace gives a view overlooking the olive trees on the large terraced garden to the village and the hills of the Massif des Maures beyond and can be enjoyed throughout the year for dining, relaxing and watching spectacular sunsets. The independent apartment has a private entrance leading to a large comfortable sitting room, a well equipped kitchen and dining area, a spacious shower room/WC and separate WC and two large bedrooms. The sitting room and the bedrooms have doors that open onto the terrace. There is private parking. Linen and towels provided. It is an ideal base for house hunters and the owners are happy to share their knowledge of the area with you.

Our Family just spend 2 weeks in the well equipped and extremely nice apartement. We enjoyed the visits to the lakes near by, the many beaches as well as the trips to Cannes, St.Maxime and St. Tropez.

Everything was just like in the pictures and comments we saw and read, maybe even better!

We thoroughly enjoyed this spacious, well-appointed and entirely comfortable apartment which couldn't be better located in the Var. Excellent value! LES ROSIERS - LOVELY, PRIVATE APARTMENT

Having visited Lorgues whilst house-hunting in September we were looking for somewhere relaxing to stay on another house-hunting trip in November where we could come in an crash out without the formality of a B&B/hotel and Les Rosiers was perfect.

We arrived after dark and after a couple of wrong turns found Les Rosiers which is located a short way from the centre of Lorgues, overlooking the church (which is beautifully lit up at night).

Ria was really friendly and welcoming and has a good knowledge of Lorgues and the surrounding areas.

The apartment itself is accessed via some steps leading down to the lower level of the house and has its own entrance and large, private terrrace facing lovely views over Lorgues. It is very spacious, very well equipped with good bathroom and kitchen and pretty much everything you need to a comfortable stay.

We felt very at home, comfortable and the apartment is very private with the owners around if you need them but you really feel like you are in a place of your own.

The apartment was very clean and is easily kept cosy with adjustable electric radiators in all the rooms, so we were very cosy.

Unfortunately we didn't really get the chance to enjoy the lovely terrace, but in other circumstance we would have definitely been out there basking in the sunshine!

All in all an excellent place to stay, good value, clean, well equipped and would definitely recommend.

LES ROSIERS - A PERFECT PLACE TO STAY!

We loved our two weeks in November at Les Rosiers. The apartment had everything we could need - dishwasher, suberb shower, washing machine etc - and was spotlessly clean, warm, and really welcoming.
Ria and Ray were perfect hosts, allowing us total privacy but always there to help when needed. The apartment has the whole ground floor of their home and its own terrace with a fabulous view over Lorgues. Even in November we could lunch outside on the terrace - and could often soak up the sun out there for several afternoon hours. For the cooler hours the apartment was warm and cosy.
Lorgues centre is only a pleasant, if occasionally steep! 10-15 minute walk, and the Tuesday market is probably the best and most extensive we have visited. There are also beautiful forested walks leading directly from the apartment. All the Var's wonderful attractions, coast, mountains, lakes, markets, etc ......are easily accessible from Lorgues and Les Rosiers apartment is a perfect base. Thank you Ria and Ray!

LES ROSIERS LORGUES CODE: 16816

My wife and I had a very enjoyable stay at Les Rosiers apartment for a week in mid September 2012. The listing description was fully accurate with regard to location, layout and facilities. The apartment was spotlessly clean and very spacious especially for 2 people. The terrace was a lovely sun trap. The owner Ria was very welcoming, informative and unobtrusive which made the apartment very private. Lorgues itself was a very charming typically french village with plenty of restaurants and cafes with a weekly (Tues) market. The region was very scenic both for drives and walks.

I would have no hesitation in recommending the apartment to a relative or friend. Indeed we fully intend to return if possible at some stage.

LES ROSIERS.

We have just spent another relaxing holiday at the villa. The property is very well appointed, very clean and has spacious rooms, lovely covered terrace and garden with barbecue area. We spend most nights on the terrace which is a lovely place to dine al-fresco and watch the sunset over Lorgues village.
The area has something for everyone whether it be the coast or inland around the Gorge du Verdon or Lac Ste Croix. There are also many pretty villages to enjoy.
Hosts Ray and Ria have a great knowledge of the local area and are more than willing to assist in making your stay one of the most enjoyable you will ever have.
We have stayed here many times and look forward to having many more holidays in our wonderful hideaway. Cannot praise Les Rosiers enough!

LES ROSIERS

We spent 6 weeks in April and May 2011 in this commodious apartment, and we really had a wonderful time. The weather was very nice and we could have dinner outdoors almost every evening on the large beautifully situated terrace with sun from afternoon til sunset. We appreciated the magnificent view over the village and the valley. In the mornings we went for a walk directly from the house in the nice surroundings of Lorgues. It was a bit hilly, but that was good for the health!
This is an apartment we will gladly return to.

Lorgues is ideally situated, surrounded by Cotes de Provence chateaux vineyards and olive groves, between the spectacular natural beauty of the Gorges de Verdon, Europe’s Grand Canyon, and stylish St Tropez yet only one hours drive from two airports. A scenic walk takes you to the village where you will find a variety of shops, banks, pharmacies, a public swimming pool a wine cooperative and olive mill. You can stroll down the lanes of the medieval village, enjoy café society outside one of the cafés and sample the Provencal cuisine at one of the many restaurants that have a wide choice of menus and prices. Lorgues has its weekly Provencal market that is one of the largest and most popular in the area. The Provencal love of art, music and wine is sensed everywhere. Marked country walks, tennis, riding and swimming are all available locally. For those who want to swim, windsurf, sail or canoe away from the bustle at the coast the picturesque Lac St Croix is at about an hours drive.
