About this property

Casa Nogal is a tastefully renovated farmhouse set in a tranquil, scenic location amidst its own olive grove ideal for relaxing family holidays, yet well-situated for visiting Granada, Malaga, Seville and Cordoba as well as for walking holidays in the natural parks. The house is 15 mins from Iznajar, a picturesque, traditional Andalucian hilltop town with ancient church and Moorish castle overlooking Lake Iznajar (kayaking etc available in the summer) and 15 mins from the A92 motorway with excellent links to Granada & the Alhambra (50 mins) , Malaga (50 mins), Seville (110 mins) and Cordoba and the Mezquita (90 mins).

When not exploring, relax by the private 10x5 m pool or drink and dine on the vine covered terrace.

The house comprises a well-equipped kitchen /dining room with log burning stove, leading to the sitting room with open fireplace and good supply of DVDs , books and games. The master double bedroom is en-suite with log burning stove with 2 additional twin bedded rooms sharing a bathroom. Each bedroom is equipped with wardrobe, bedside cabinets, free standing electric fans or portable heaters depending on season.

Just a note of thanks for letting us stay at Casa Nogal we all had a great holiday and it was so lovely to stay in a home not a property. The pool was definitely a huge bonus with the heat and I really enjoyed the tranquillity of my early morning lengths whilst being dive-bombed by the swallows!

Casa Nogal

Wonderfully private and peaceful location. Thoroughly enjoyed our week at Casa Nogal, and the large pool was a particular treat. We would highly recommend this traditional cortijo to anyone looking to get away from modern life.

A lovely holiday!

We had a lovely time in Andalusia. This property is lovely and peaceful. It was close to 40* every day for the 2 weeks we were there, but the house stays comfortable and the lovely pool kept us cool! Lovely days out visiting places, or relaxing by the pool and then evenings enjoying a meal on the terrace with a lovely view across to the mountains, enjoying the peace! We all loved the nearby hilltop village of Iznejar. A quiet, unassuming but beautiful village. We also enjoyed day trips to Ronda and the Alhambra as well as the coast. A lovely place, we were sad to leave.

Excellent - well equipped and comfortable with super facilities

Beautiful house with lots to enjoy. The standard of fittings and equipment is high and we enjoyed the veranda, pool and lovely view, good to have wi-fi too. The owners thought of everything needed to make you welcome and their attention to detail was evident everywhere, they were also available if needed.
