The house is located in Ortigia's island (Syracuse's historic center). This old house, totally renovated by the architect & designer Johanna Grawunder, stands in the remains of antique Greece and the middle-age and baroque monuments.
The house is arranged on 3 floors which are connected by a striking central staircase in wood and steel. On the ground floor there is the entrance - dining room, the kitchen with a breakfast corner and a family bathroom. On the first floor there is a living room with balcony and a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom. On the second floor, a double bedroom with balcony, a dressing room and a family bathroom. On the third floor, there is the equipped terrace from there you can enjoy a beautiful view over the Ortigia's roofs and the volcano Etna on the background.

Great location

We had a fabulous 6 days at this apartment. We’ll located in Ortigia. Not too far from the large car park and near the market. Worked perfectly for us with 3 bedrooms. Definitely recommend this apartment

All you need and more.

Novae Dimore (the agents) were very responsive and helpful. The townhouse was more spacious than it looks and it's location is superb. The stairs are not for all but we had no issue. You can walk to the fresh markets, there is a small supermarket just a street way and all the shopping you need plus the immense charm of Ortigia (leaves Taormina in the dust except for the views). And the hostess Anna-Maria is lovely.

Una bella sorpresa

Casa Levante e' stata una bella sorpresa. Posizione centralissima ma lontana dal caos, la proprieta' e sofisticata e di design. Ogni ospite ha la sua privacy essendo le camere disposte su due piani, 3 comodi bagni. Plus il terrazzo con vista sui tetti e mare di Ortigia!

Superschön renoviertes Stadthaus

Das Haus mitten in der Altstadt von Ortigia ist toll renoviert, durch das helle und offene Treppenhaus kommt Licht in ein sonst eher dunkles Stadthaus. Sehr schön! Leider konnten wir die Dachterasse wegen Sturm und Regen nicht viel nutzen und fühlten uns in Ortigia etwas wie in einem Freilichtmuseum, aber das Haus war klasse! Alles funktionierte und die Betreuung durch die Nachbarin war sehr nett!
