Trewollas is an idyllic place to spend Christmas and New Year. It is peaceful and relaxing with the most stunning view – the terrace is particularly good for enjoying a glass of pink champagne on Christmas Day watching the Polar Bear club plunge into the freezing cold sea. There are endless walking options with a nice glass of mulled wine in the Old Success to look forward to at the end or a nice stroll on the beach with the dog followed by coffee and cake at The Beach. St Ives was great for Christmas shopping and post-Christmas sales and we had a fantastic turkey from Lantern butchers in Penzance. We had a great time on New Year’s Eve in The Old Success where there was a band and, having been there many times during our stay, everyone was very friendly and welcoming. We would thoroughly recommend it to anyone!
