Clean, Peaceful, 3BR/2BA Cottage, 250 feet to the Beach

This property is a real gem. My wife and I spent a week here with our four teenage children in late July 2011 and had a truly amazing time. The whole family enjoyed the most restful and fun week. We were stunned by the beauty of the beaches and couldn't get over the
temperature of the sea! We were lucky enough to see dolphins swimming, and some beautiful sunsets.
The property is top quality, well maintained, bright and airy and well equipped. The plunge pool with hydro jets is an excellent place to chill out and the barbecue area is very pleasant. The owner, AnaMaria, is very helpful and friendly. It is a 2 minute walk to the beautiful beach and is also an easy walk to some excellent restaurants. We visited the Sandbar, the Waterfront and The City Pier Restaurant and would recommend all three.
We had great fun fishing from both the City and the Rod and Reel piers, spent hours riding around the island on our bikes from Fun and More Rentals and enjoyed a very productive day of off shore fishing on board The Magic with Captain Todd out of Cortez, catching more snapper and tuna than we could eat! We also enjoyed visiting the Salvador Dali museum in St Petersburg but mainly spent our days at the beach enjoying the laid back vibe of the island - a great tonic after two weeks of roller coasters in Orlando. We would have no hesitation in recommending this property and will use it ourselves if we ever visit the area again.

We enjoyed the house very much! It is so nice to have a light, clean, comfortable and tastefully furnished home away from home!
This part of Anna Maria Island is so nice, there were just pelicans, dolphins, great blue herons and ....us! We will definetely come back!

After two weeks in Orlando this was the ideal place for a little relaxation and the ideal spot to recuperate.The cottage is ideally located to access the beach, only a two minute work away, and provides easy access to all the restaurants on the northern tip of AnnaMarie Island. We found the whole place extremely friendly and very laid back thers's plenty of opportunity to hire kayaks or boats but most people seem to kick back and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere on the island. It truely is picturesque and we will certainly be back in years to come.
