Photos and Description of this 2 bedroom holiday apartment in Notting Hill - Pembridge Square

2 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom Home Is Eclectic On The Inside And Pretty Outdoors

Carnival of nations

Even in Notting hill’s wide-ranging world, pembridge square piques the interest. And styled with fancies from japan to nigeria, this hemisphere-hopping home is a call to adventure. Buddhas meet tribal masks and ornate bedsteads, while clean lines frame vibrant prints and long-loved antiques. And in the grand, ivy-smothered garden, you’ll feel miles away. So rest weary legs over a quiet cup of tea, or wend your way past the french doors and worldly sitting room to pick out a souvenir from nearby portobello market’s selection.

Happy wanderers

Your hosts may have been tireless in their travels, but their hearts have ever been in notting hill. It’s where their two sons grew up, and they’ve merry memories aplenty.

World of difference

Every room brings treasure to this home, whether it’s the sitting room’s nods to japan, or the african masks enlivening the ensuite bathroom. You might greet the rising sun with a look at the garden’s trellises and statues, or let your gaze rest on the fabrics and antiques, art and travel tomes inside. There’s eastern promise in the master bedroom’s gilded mirror and bedside trunks, and a world of adventure awaits in the double’s books and wistful prints. And at the sight of the kitchen’s glowing red surfaces, we fancy any traveller will be glad to be home

About Owner / Property Manager

onefinestay gives you the chance to stay in someone's place while they're out of town. You get to live their life for a few days and nights.

Booking a stay is as easy as booking a hotel room. And there's service to match.

Nobody wants to be a tourist, so our homes come with recommendations from the people who live in them. For everything else, we're here 24/7.

Why Owner / Property Manager chose Notting Hill

Notting Hill’s pretty pastel townhouses and vibrant market streets are definitely more than just a setting for a famous movie. As well as one of the city’s most iconic neighbourhoods it is also a key player in any history of London’s pop-cultural explosion over the last 50 years. Its physical charms, meanwhile, are many and undeniable and few areas pack in so diverse and plentiful a stretch of shopping and grazing possibilities.

First rediscovered by the more adventurous bohemian sorts in the late 1960s, the area retained a certain edge right up until the late 1980s when All Saints Road was known as the ‘front line’.

Today it is safe and upscale, and is home to elegant crescents of large white stucco houses, and communal garden squares, mixed in with upscale boutiques, bakeries and coffee shops.

But if Notting Hill has lost some of its street cred, the area retains a peculiar power to enchant. Many Londoners have a particular warm summer’s day and/or night spent in Notting Hill, when it can feel a unique urban idyll, etched in their memory.

What makes this apartment unique

Booking a stay is as easy as booking a hotel room, with online payment and confirmation. You get the same attention to detail and personal service too.

Every home is properly cleaned before and after you stay, beds made (we can even do hospital corners) and bathrooms kitted out with luxury toiletries. There’s a maid service if you want it, as well as other hotel-style amenities.

Once we’ve helped you settle in, we’re just a call away, 24/7. If it’s something we can’t solve over the phone, we’ll pop over to lend a hand.

And because nobody wants to be a tourist, our homes come with personal and unique recommendations from the people who live in them – places to eat, things to do and adventures to go on.
