This clean and modern 2 Bedroom Apartment in the City of London has AMAZING VIEWS of London from every window: spectacular at night time too - you can see St Paul's Cathedral, London Eye & Big Ben! Old Street Tube Station (zone 1, Northern Line) is only a 5 minute walk. You can even walk to the famous St Paul's Cathedral which is nearby!

A great location in the heart of the City of London and only a short bus ride to the West End (Shops & Theatres). Buses to Oxford Street (shops) & West End, Covent Garden, London Eye all nearby.

2 Bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment set on different levels with a double bed in one of the bedrooms, built in wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside cabinet. In the other bedroom there are 2 single beds, built in wardrobe and chest of drawers. In the bathroom there is a bath with shower, toilet and sink. The kitchen is fully equipped (washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, oven and microwave oven) and in the living room there are 2 double sofa beds, flat screen TV and unlimited WIFI. There are wonderful views of London from the balcony where you may like to take breakfast, lunch or dinner.

I love London and I rent out apartments around the World. I bought this apartment for my daughter while she was studying in London to use and also for me to use every time I come to London. But now we rent it as a holiday let when we're not at home and it is proving really popular with the many guests who stay here.

Many of our guests tell us they feel like Mary Poppins looking down over London. There are amazing views from every window. You can actually see many of London's famous landmarks: St Paul's Cathedral, Big Ben, the London Eye, the Olympic Stadium and all the way across the City to Wembley Stadium! Local buses that take you to Oxford Street & West End shops / theatres or a tube station only a few minutes away, or relax in one of the many restaurants within walking distance of the apartment or grab a pint in a real East End pub : ).

Decent, close to subway, but nothing exceptional

We stayed for four nights and everything went well. We think it is important, however, to note: (1) the listing description does not state that this apartment is on four levels so there are many stairs involved (entrance is on one level, kitchen and living room on the next level, bathroom on the next level and the bedrooms on the top level). (2) The property was clean and we had average customer service (unresponsive to one text message). (3) We felt that we might have been "illegal occupants" as there were notices posted in the apartment advising us not to speak with neighbors and this made us feel uncomfortable. (4) The apartment was convenient to the subway line and stores/restaurants. (5) The closets were impossible to use as the bar to hang clothes on was installed too high for an average-height person to use; there was no wifi in the bedrooms.

Owner's Response: Hello Susan, am so sorry to read you felt the apartment was not exceptional as we do aim to provide every home comfort possible. Your comments have been taken on board though and I appreciate them: We will update the details to let people know the apartment is set on different levels and we will remove the note about the neighbours (it's a long story but I had forgotten it was there and no longer applies!). You are also the first to mention that the wardrobe rail in one of the rooms is high but perhaps we can supply a footstool in case this is an issue for many. There is plenty of closet space though and guests may prefer to use the big double wardrobe in the second bedroom. The wifi sometimes does not reach the bedrooms, you are correct, but again we may look into providing boosters if it is something others specifically request. Thank you again for pointing out how we may improve and we will certainly act on your advice. I hope in the meantime you enjoyed your stay and that the proximity to the facilities and fabulous views across London more than made up for any short comings on our part. Kind regards Lynn

Lovely property and location

We stayed at this apartment for 3 nights and found it very clean, comfortable and well equipped. It is in a good position for the tube (only 5 mins.walk away) and has a co-op supermarket just round the corner , we found this very handy for picking up our essentials and for popping in on our way back from a day out. The views from the apartment are stunning, looking right across London , it was especially nice at night when it was all lit up . The apartment is a proper home from home ,very spacious with comfortable furnishings, it was lovely to come back and relax after a busy day out. We felt very safe in this area and there was also a concierge on reception if you needed anything. We would certainly use this property again without hesitation ,many thanks for a great stay.

Perfect London Accommodation with fabulous views -

A very easy to find apartment very close to the tube station and bus stops for shopping and sight seeing with a Co-op on the corner for those last minute purchases. The apartment was a home from home with clean, comfortable beds, a well stocked kitchen including a washing machine, dryer and free wifi! We had breakfast on the balcony overlooking London landmarks which was a real treat. Good restaurants were only a short walk away. The whole family, including the children, had a great time and are already looking forward to staying here again when we next come to London. We cannot recommend this apartment highly enough. Book with confidence.
