A Well Located Comfortable House Near To Local Beaches And Town Centre
Newly available to the holiday rental market in Falmouth, 'Carvinack' is a light, spacious and welcoming 1 bedroom semi-detached property located in a quiet residential area close to the beaches of Gyllyngvase, Castle Beach and Swan pool with its nature reserve. The town centre, port and seafront are either a very short drive or a comfortable stroll away.
The property has recently been decorated with a neutral decor and a tastefully appointed comfortable interior. On the ground floor you enter the property through an enclosed porch leading to the front door where you will find a good sized lounge with LCD TV, DVD player and audio facilities. There is plenty of comfortable seating, a sofa, reclining armchair and a bay window leather lounge chair/footstool. The seating is complimented by vintage 'Ercol' elm furniture that features throughout the house.
French doors lead to the very well equipped kitchen/dining room with built in oven and hob as well as a microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washing machine. You will find an extensive array of cooking equipment should you choose to dine at home.
The dining area has an 'Ercol' dining table and chairs. A vintage 'Roberts' radio in the kitchen to pick up the shipping forecast or enjoy some music or news while preparing meals.
A door leads to the light and airy bathroom at the rear of the property with WC, basin and a corner glass shower cubicle.
A staircase from the lounge leads to a comfortable bedroom with an en-suite WC. The double bed has good quality bedding complimented by a colourful 'Sanderson' Roman blind and cushions. An LCD TV with built in DVD player sits on top of a stripped pine chest of drawers. You will find plenty of hanging space and room for clothes and suitcases in the built in wardrobes and chests of drawers. Please feel free to bring a travel cot and if you have a child we can provide a single ‘Z bed’ complete with feather and down duvet upon request.

Outside there is plenty of on street parking in a friendly, quiet residential area or shared use of our driveway on request. You are very welcome to enjoy the use of the often sun drenched garden to the front of the property with table, chairs and parasol.
The owners are located next door and are often on hand if you require assistance or would like to ask for recommendations about places to visit or local restaurants/bars to enjoy a meal or drink.
The nearby railway station and bus routes are within easy walking distance and plenty of good local taxi firms are available.

Passionate about Falmouth and it's diverse range of arts, culture, great beaches and outstanding local food. With many events taking place each year there is always something to do. The Falmouth Oyster Festival takes place every October showcasing excellent local food and drink. August is always a busy time with Falmouth week featuring live music and this year we have the 'Tall Ships' visiting Falmouth at the end of August. Excellent local restaurants and bars.
